Audit Manager Jobs in Los Angeles: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a audit manager job in Los Angeles?
Focus your search on Los Angeles's densest hiring pockets: downtown's financial district, Century City, and Westside corporate campuses where entertainment conglomerates, private equity firms, and large health systems concentrate audit teams. Candidates who combine public accounting experience with industry knowledge in entertainment, real estate, or financial services stand out locally. Networking through the Institute of Internal Auditors Los Angeles chapter and targeting mid-size regional firms alongside large corporations gives you the widest set of openings.
Which companies hire audit managers in Los Angeles?
Companies currently hiring audit managers in Los Angeles include Grant Thornton, SingerLewak LLP, and ghj, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Los Angeles draws a wide mix of employers, from major entertainment studios and global banks headquartered in Century City to regional healthcare systems and real estate investment trusts with large internal audit functions.
Are there remote audit manager jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the employer and audit type, since internal audit work often requires on-site access to records, systems, and business units. About 77% of audit manager openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with fully remote roles appearing most often in IT audit, compliance, and risk advisory rather than hands-on operational or financial audit positions.
How can I get a audit manager job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is joining a regional public accounting firm as a staff or senior auditor, where you build the client exposure and supervisory hours that local employers expect before promoting into management. Los Angeles's large healthcare systems, entertainment companies, and financial services firms also hire internal audit seniors who are one step from manager-level. Earning your CPA and gaining even limited team lead experience accelerates that transition significantly in this market.
Which industries hire the most audit managers in Los Angeles?
The sectors hiring the most audit managers in Los Angeles are Accounting & Auditing, Consulting & Professional Services, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Los Angeles's unique economic mix of entertainment, finance, and healthcare creates sustained audit demand because all three are heavily regulated industries with complex revenue recognition, compliance, and risk management requirements that require dedicated audit leadership.
