Job Description
In collaboration with and under the direction of the BH COO have responsibility for the strategic direction, clinical excellence, operational performance, workforce development, financial stewardship, and regulatory oversight of behavioral health nursing services across University Health Behavioral Health. Working collaboratively with executive leadership, this position establishes a unified nursing vision across outpatient, crisis center and inpatient behavioral health nursing, contracted hospital partnerships, future acquisitions, and new service lines. The Associate Administrator ensures standardized evidence-based nursing practice, advances trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care, leads organizational growth initiatives, and serves as the executive leader for behavioral health nursing quality, safety, and patient experience.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
Licensed in the State of Missouri as an RN.
Three to five years nursing management experience in mental health services.
Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with culturally diverse patient and staff population.
Working knowledge of the principles and theories of health care delivery and nursing practice.
Experience in the supervision and management of personnel.
Demonstrated ability in managing day to day operations for nursing operations in multiple locations
