Entry Level Cardiac Catheterization Technologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level cardiac catheterization technologist job?
Entry level cardiac catheterization technologist roles prioritize clinical exposure over years of experience. Completing a cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology program with a cath lab rotation gives you the procedural foundation employers want. RCIS certification, even if pending, signals readiness. Highlight any experience with cardiac monitoring equipment, sterile technique, or patient prep during invasive procedures, and be ready to discuss your clinical hours in interviews.
Which companies hire entry level cardiac catheterization technologists?
Companies hiring entry level cardiac catheterization technologists right now include Providence Swedish, tms, and SSM Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hospitals, academic medical centers, and outpatient cardiovascular specialty clinics tend to be the most active employers at this experience level, often hiring new graduates directly into structured orientation programs.
Are there remote entry level cardiac catheterization technologist jobs?
Yes, though most positions in this hands-on clinical role require on-site presence in a cath lab. About 0% of entry level cardiac catheterization technologist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those opportunities typically involve education, training coordination, or clinical support roles rather than direct procedural work.
Are these new grad cardiac catheterization technologist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts clinical internships or student rotations toward the requirement, or accepts a portfolio of procedural training in lieu of paid employment history. Look for language like 'will train' or 'new graduates encouraged to apply' as reliable indicators.
Which industries hire the most entry level cardiac catheterization technologists?
Entry Level cardiac catheterization technologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Science & Research, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because demand for minimally invasive cardiac procedures continues to grow, and facilities are investing in building their cath lab teams from the ground up with newly trained candidates.
