Entry Level Cleaning Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level cleaning job?
Start by applying to postings that explicitly welcome applicants with little or no prior experience, such as those listing 'no experience necessary' or 'will train.' Reliability, attention to detail, and physical stamina are what employers look for most at this stage. Any prior cleaning work, whether informal, volunteer, or through a school or internship, strengthens your application and shows you understand the job.
Which companies hire entry level cleanings?
Companies hiring entry level cleanings right now include Ducts All Done, HHS, and ASML, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of employers, including commercial cleaning contractors, property management companies, healthcare facilities, and hospitality operators that regularly onboard candidates with minimal experience.
Are there remote entry level cleaning jobs?
Yes, though the vast majority of cleaning roles are on-site by nature. About 0% of entry level cleaning openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to be support or coordination roles adjacent to cleaning operations rather than hands-on positions. Most candidates should expect to work at a physical location.
Are these new grad cleaning jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles suited to candidates just entering the workforce. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or informal work in lieu of full-time history, and does not require specialized certifications to apply. Look for language like 'entry level,' 'no experience required,' or 'training provided.'
Which industries hire the most entry level cleanings?
Entry Level cleaning roles concentrate in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Technology & Software, and Electronics & Hardware, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent demand at the entry level because they operate facilities that require ongoing daily cleaning and maintenance, creating steady openings for candidates starting out.
