The group includes 13 physicians, 2 physician assistants, and approximately 50 employees. Role Description The Clinic Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic. This role manages clinic workflows, staffing schedules, and patient flow to ensure efficient and timely delivery of care. The Clinic Operations Manager supervises and supports front and back office teams, oversees check-in and check-out processes, and ensures accurate patient registration, documentation, and billing coordination. They monitor operational performance, implement process improvements, and maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with physicians and leadership on operational priorities, managing vendor relationships, supporting budget and resource planning, and addressing patient concerns to promote a positive patient experience. Salary Range $140,000-$160,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in clinic or healthcare operations management, preferably in obstetrics, gynecology, fertility, or a similar outpatient setting. Minimum 5 years.
• Proficiency in supervising clinical and administrative staff, including scheduling, performance feedback, and team development.
• Strong organizational and workflow-management abilities, with experience optimizing patient flow, scheduling, and front office processes.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), medical office software, Excel, and basic healthcare billing and insurance workflows.
• Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, privacy standards (such as HIPAA), and safety and quality protocols in a clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, staff, and patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on patient experience and service quality.
• Ability to work on-site full time in San Diego, CA, and to adapt to changing clinic priorities and operational needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field; equivalent experience in clinic operations may be considered.
• Prior experience in a private practice or multi-physician group environment is highly desirable.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
