Boston University invites applications for two non-tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work in the Clinical Practice Department beginning Fall 2027.
We invite persons with a strong commitment to justice focused on anti-oppressive practice, scholarship, and teaching who are licensed clinical social workers with significant direct practice experience.
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Required Skills
Requirements: Candidates should have:
- An MSW degree with licensure
- Evidence of excellent teaching and/or training skills in areas relevant to clinical practice
Preferred:
- PhD in social work or equivalent graduate degree
- Expertise in children, youth, and families
- Experience teaching high-enrollment core clinical courses across modalities
- Experience in anti-oppressive clinical assessment & interventions aligned with current student demand
