Eldorado Animal Clinic is a warm, tight-knit practice where every team member truly matters. We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated Registered Veterinary Technician who wants to be part of a supportive environment that values high-quality care, collaboration, and genuine community connection. Our clinic is deeply rooted in the Eldorado/Santa Fe community, and we’re proud of the relationships we build with both clients and local partners.
We are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostics, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and preventative wellness. Eldorado Animal Clinic is equipped for excellence. We provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as in house ultrasound.
Your Role – Clinical Driver & Leader
As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.
You will primarily utilize your skills in:
- Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
- Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
- Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
- Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
- Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
