We are looking for a skilled and experienced orthodontic assistant to join our team! Our office prides itself on providing a compassionate and caring experience to all patients and providing esthetic, cutting-edge, and evidence-based care using the most efficient treatment modality, be it buccal appliances, clear aligners, or lingual braces.
Qualifications/duties include, but are not limited to:
- 2 years of experience as an orthodontic technician
- Detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer literate -- our office is digital and paperless.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Actively participating in group/team meetings and activities
- Professional patient communication through verbal or written channels
- Ability to multi-task
- Quick learner
- Familiarity with intra-oral scanner technology
- Data management utilizing digital platforms
- Assisting the doctors chair-side, including bonding, adjusting, and debonding of buccal/lingual appliances and clear aligners.
- Breaking down, cleaning, disinfecting, setting up, and preparing patient chairs and clinical areas between procedures
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments
- Maintaining clean, neat, and organized work areas (lab, imaging, clinical)
- Taking dental x-rays (pan and ceph)
- Performing all orthodontic RDA chair-side duties independent
- Ordering supplies
All in all, we are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, outgoing, a team player, and is able multi-task. Previous dental/orthodontic assisting experience is greatly preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
Benefits include PTO, medical/dental, retirement, and paid sick leave. Positions available include both part-time and full-time (for the right candidate)
