Product Communications Lead, Core Print Solutions
Description -
Reporting to the Global Head of Print Communications, this role leads communications for HP’s Core Print business, spanning Office, Consumer, and Supplies. The role serves as a strategic communications partner to senior business leaders, translating complex products, services, and leadership moments into clear, credible storytelling that advances HP’s Print priorities.
The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, comfort navigating ambiguity, and sound decision-making in high-visibility moments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the communications strategy for HP’s Core Print businesses, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and their teams. Provide clear guidance, recommendations, and decision support for high-visibility business moments.
- Shape and implement both proactive and reactive communications strategies that support business priorities and protect HP’s reputation, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective messaging.
- Drive product innovation and portfolio storytelling across hardware, services, and supplies, including new product introductions, platform updates, and ecosystem narratives aligned with HP’s broader priorities such as security, AI-enabled workflows, and the Future of Work.
- Oversee media engagement strategy, including press outreach, briefings, product reviews, and trade narratives. Identify and manage emerging issues, advising on tone, posture, and timing.
- Manage agency partners across planning, execution, and performance measurement. Foster strong context-setting and disciplined decision-making within the Print Comms team.
Experience Recommended
- 8+ years of experience in product, corporate, or business communications, ideally within technology or complex B2B/B2C environments
- Strong executive presence and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics without oversimplifying
- Proven experience managing complex communications moments and advising senior leaders
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Experience leading teams and agency partners across global scopes

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
