INTRODUCTION
Sodexo is seeking a full-time Community Outreach/Clinical Dietitian to make a meaningful impact across UH Conneaut and Geneva Medical Centers in beautiful northeastern Ohio.
This unique split role offers the best of both worlds—you’ll spend two days each week at the UH Food For Life Market in Conneaut, working directly within the community to improve access to nutrition, while dedicating three days to providing inpatient clinical care at Geneva Medical Center. We welcome both new graduates and experienced dietitians to apply to this role!

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide inpatient care to a variety of patients at the UH Geneva Medical Center 3 days a week
- Work with clients at the UH Food For Life Market, 2 days/week in Conneaut
- Lead the clients through the UH Food For Life Market, providing informal counseling on dietary needs and optimal food choices
- Manage the materials and food inventory of the Food for Life Market for clients identified as food insecure
- Participate in community events such as food collection programs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in OH (or eligible)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player
- Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and community partners
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
CREDENTIALS REQUIREMENT:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
