Verify your CCC credential before applying
AccentCare's SLP roles in home health typically require ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence. Confirm your CCC-SLP is active and your state licensure is in order before submitting applications, since credentialing delays can stall offer letters and visa timelines.
Target AccentCare's home health divisions specifically
AccentCare operates across home health, hospice, and rehab settings. SLP openings cluster most heavily in home health. Filtering your search to that division surfaces roles where sponsorship has historically moved forward and caseloads align with SLP scope.
Ask recruiters about EB-3 versus TN pathways early
AccentCare has sponsored both TN and employment-based Green Card pathways for clinical roles. If you're Canadian or Mexican, ask directly about TN eligibility during the recruiter screen, since it avoids PERM labor certification and can get you working faster.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active AccentCare SLP openings
AccentCare's SLP listings are distributed across multiple markets and don't always surface together on general job boards. Migrate Mate filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers, so you can find AccentCare's open SLP roles without sifting through listings that won't support your status.
Clarify OPT or CPT authorization with HR before your start date
If you're on F-1 status, confirm that AccentCare's HR team is familiar with E-Verify requirements for OPT workers. Clinical employers sometimes underestimate the STEM OPT extension process, and you'll want written confirmation of your authorized start date before giving notice anywhere else.
Build your PERM timeline into your offer negotiation
EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship requires DOL's PERM labor certification before USCIS filing, a process that can take twelve months or longer. Raise this timeline during offer negotiations so both sides align on when the petition can realistically begin relative to your current status expiration.

Find Speech Language Pathology at AccentCare JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does AccentCare sponsor H-1B visas for Speech Language Pathologists?
AccentCare's primary sponsorship pathway for SLP roles is employment-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, rather than H-1B. Speech Language Pathology is classified as a specialty occupation and can qualify under H-1B, but AccentCare's sponsorship activity for this role has leaned toward permanent residency pathways. Confirm directly with the recruiter which categories are available for the specific position you're applying to.
How do I apply for Speech Language Pathology jobs at AccentCare?
You can find AccentCare's open SLP positions through Migrate Mate, which filters for visa-sponsoring employers and surfaces roles by location and status type. When you apply, lead with your ASHA CCC-SLP credential and active state licensure in your resume header. Recruiters move quickly on credentialed candidates, so having your documents ready before the screening call strengthens your position.
Which visa types does AccentCare commonly use for Speech Language Pathology roles?
AccentCare has sponsored F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card pathways (EB-2 and EB-3) for clinical roles including Speech Language Pathology. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with an SLP degree and is faster to obtain than a Green Card. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates completing their clinical fellowship year before transitioning to long-term sponsorship.
What qualifications does AccentCare expect for Speech Language Pathology positions?
Most AccentCare SLP roles require a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), and an active state license in the state where you'll be working. Home health positions often add a preference for experience with dysphagia and adult neurogenic disorders. Some roles list the Clinical Fellowship Year as acceptable in lieu of full CCC certification, but confirm this with the recruiter.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an SLP role at AccentCare?
Timeline depends on which pathway you're using. TN status can be obtained at the border or port of entry in a single day if documentation is complete. EB-3 sponsorship involves PERM labor certification with the DOL, which typically takes twelve months or more, followed by USCIS petition processing. If you're on F-1 OPT, your authorized period starts immediately, but plan for Green Card filing to begin well before your OPT expiration to avoid gaps.
