Verify Your RN Licensure Transfers to Each State
AccentCare hires hospice RNs across dozens of states, and your license must be valid in the state where you'll work. Apply through the Nurse Licensure Compact if eligible, since it covers most AccentCare markets.
Obtain Your VisaScreen Certificate Before Interviewing
Foreign-educated nurses must hold a VisaScreen certificate from CGFNS before an employer can file an employment-based petition. Securing this ahead of your application signals readiness and removes a common bottleneck that stalls AccentCare's HR process.
Target AccentCare Branches With Active Hospice Openings
AccentCare operates hospice programs across multiple regions with varying hiring urgency. Use Migrate Mate to filter active Hospice Registered Nurse roles at AccentCare by location, then prioritize markets where openings have been posted longest.
Understand How EB-3 PERM Timelines Affect Your Start Date
EB-3 sponsorship requires DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS filing, which typically adds months to your timeline. Ask AccentCare's recruiter directly whether they initiate PERM concurrently with your offer or after a set probationary period.
Confirm OPT Authorization Covers Hospice Clinical Work
If you're on F-1 OPT, your employment must directly relate to your nursing degree. Hospice RN work qualifies, but your OPT authorization document must list the correct SOC code. Confirm this with your DSO before accepting an offer from AccentCare.
Prepare Clinical Documentation That Reflects Hospice-Specific Competencies
AccentCare's hiring managers assess hospice-specific skills separately from general RN experience. Before interviews, compile references and documentation showing palliative care hours, pain management protocols you've followed, and any bereavement or family communication experience.

Does AccentCare sponsor H-1B visas for Hospice Registered Nurses?
AccentCare's primary visa sponsorship pathways for Hospice Registered Nurses are EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Cards, not H-1B visas. Registered Nursing is a Schedule A shortage occupation, which allows AccentCare to bypass the DOL PERM labor market test for EB-3 petitions. H-1B sponsorship is not a standard offering for clinical nursing roles at AccentCare, so employment-based immigrant visa pathways are the realistic route for most international candidates.
How do I apply for Hospice Registered Nurse jobs at AccentCare?
You can browse and apply for Hospice Registered Nurse openings at AccentCare directly through Migrate Mate, which aggregates AccentCare's active visa-sponsoring roles in one place. When applying, include your current licensure status, any CGFNS or VisaScreen credentials, and your work authorization type upfront. AccentCare's hospice hiring teams often screen for state licensure and clinical availability early in the process, so being transparent about your timeline avoids delays.
Which visa types does AccentCare commonly use for Hospice Registered Nurse roles?
AccentCare sponsors Hospice Registered Nurses through EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, and accepts candidates on F-1 OPT and CPT for qualifying nursing graduates, as well as TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. The EB-3 Schedule A pathway is the most common route because it waives the PERM labor certification requirement for registered nurses, streamlining the Green Card process compared to most other occupations.
What qualifications does AccentCare expect for a Hospice Registered Nurse role?
AccentCare typically requires an active RN license in the state of employment, at least one year of clinical nursing experience, and a preference for candidates with hospice, palliative care, or oncology backgrounds. You'll need reliable transportation since hospice RNs frequently make home visits. Foreign-educated nurses must also hold a CGFNS VisaScreen certificate and have their credentials evaluated to confirm equivalency with U.S. nursing degree standards before a visa petition can proceed.
How long does AccentCare's visa sponsorship process take for Hospice Registered Nurses?
For EB-3 Schedule A cases, the process involves USCIS filing an I-140 petition and then waiting for a visa number to become available, which varies significantly by your country of birth. Applicants born in countries without significant backlogs can often complete the process within one to two years. Those born in high-demand countries like India or China may face longer waits. Starting the process as early as possible, ideally at your offer stage, reduces overall timeline risk.
