Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Social Worker Jobs at AccentCare Jobs
Obtain your MSW before applying
Most AccentCare Social Worker postings require a Master of Social Work degree. Confirm your foreign credentials are evaluated by a NACES-approved agency before applying, since healthcare employers expect U.S.-equivalent credential verification upfront.
Target roles in underserved care markets
AccentCare expands hiring in areas with staffing shortages, especially rural and suburban home health territories. Roles in those markets face less internal competition and are more likely to move quickly through offer and sponsorship conversations.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility during the phone screen
AccentCare sponsors select visa categories for this function. Ask the recruiter directly which types they currently support for Social Worker hires, so you're not advancing through interviews before confirming your work authorization path is viable.
Understand TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Social Workers may qualify for TN status under the Social Worker occupational category. You'll need your MSW degree and a detailed employer support letter. TN requires no USCIS filing for Canadians, making the offer-to-start timeline significantly faster than other categories.
Factor PERM labor certification into your EB-2 or EB-3 timeline
If AccentCare offers Green Card sponsorship, PERM recruitment typically adds six to twelve months before USCIS filing begins. Plan your OPT or other bridging status accordingly so you don't face a gap while the DOL case is pending.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Social Worker roles at AccentCare
Sponsoring employers don't always flag visa support in job postings. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified Social Worker openings at AccentCare filtered by the visa categories relevant to your situation, so you're applying where sponsorship is confirmed.

Find Social Worker at AccentCare JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does AccentCare sponsor H-1B visas for Social Workers?
AccentCare's sponsorship activity for Social Workers is concentrated in employment-based Green Card categories and F-1 OPT rather than H-1B. If you're on OPT, you can begin work while Green Card sponsorship is initiated. If you need H-1B sponsorship specifically, confirm availability with the recruiter early, since not every Social Worker hire includes it.
Which visa types are commonly used for Social Worker roles at AccentCare?
AccentCare has sponsored Social Workers through F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT is the most common starting point for recent MSW graduates. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with a qualifying Social Work degree and a supporting offer letter.
What qualifications does AccentCare expect for Social Worker positions?
AccentCare typically requires a Master of Social Work degree and state licensure, either LMSW or LCSW depending on the role. Home health and hospice positions prioritize experience in care coordination, discharge planning, or end-of-life support. If your degree is from outside the U.S., a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved organization strengthens your application.
How do I apply for Social Worker jobs at AccentCare?
You can browse open Social Worker positions at AccentCare through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can identify which openings align with your work authorization. When applying, tailor your resume to home health or hospice care competencies, and be prepared to confirm your licensure status and work authorization category during the initial recruiter screen.
How do I plan my timeline if AccentCare offers Green Card sponsorship?
If AccentCare initiates PERM-based sponsorship, expect the DOL labor certification process to take six to twelve months before the I-140 petition is filed with USCIS. If you're on OPT, file for a 24-month STEM extension if eligible, or explore bridging options early. Starting the conversation about sponsorship at the offer stage, not after you've started, gives you the clearest picture of the full timeline.
