Frame your credentials around CMS compliance experience
AccentCare operates across state-licensed home health and hospice markets regulated by CMS. Documenting your experience with Medicare Conditions of Participation, survey readiness, or value-based care programs positions your profile for executive-level scrutiny during the offer stage.
Target AccentCare's regional COO openings strategically
AccentCare structures leadership hiring by care division and geography. Applying to regional COO roles aligned with states where you have operational history gives your application a concrete service-line connection that vague executive profiles lack.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
AccentCare sponsors TN, F-1 OPT, and employment-based Green Card pathways. If you're on OPT, confirm your remaining authorized period upfront. For TN eligibility, verify your role maps to a qualifying occupation category before negotiations begin.
Prepare for PERM's prevailing wage requirements early
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship at AccentCare requires PERM labor certification. DOL's prevailing wage determination for COO roles in healthcare can take several months. Knowing the wage level for your target market before your offer helps you negotiate a compliant salary without delays.
Use Migrate Mate to surface AccentCare COO openings by visa type
AccentCare posts COO roles across multiple divisions at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter active AccentCare openings by the visa types they sponsor, so you're applying to roles with confirmed sponsorship eligibility rather than guessing from a general job board.
Build a leadership portfolio specific to home-based care scale
AccentCare COO hires are expected to manage multi-site P&L, workforce scalability, and payor contract performance. Documenting measurable outcomes in these areas, rather than general healthcare executive experience, addresses what AccentCare's hiring panels actually evaluate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does AccentCare sponsor H-1B visas for COOs?
AccentCare's documented sponsorship activity for COO roles focuses on employment-based Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT and TN visas. H-1B visa sponsorship at the COO level is not a consistent pattern in their filings. If an H-1B is your primary pathway, confirm sponsorship availability directly with AccentCare's talent acquisition team before progressing through interviews.
How do I apply for COO jobs at AccentCare?
You can apply directly through AccentCare's careers portal or browse their open COO roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. AccentCare typically lists COO positions by division or region, so reviewing the specific care line and geography in each posting helps you tailor your application to the operational scope they're hiring for.
Which visa types does AccentCare commonly sponsor for COO roles?
AccentCare has sponsored COO-level talent through EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card categories, which require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. They also support F-1 OPT holders and TN visa holders in professional management roles. The right pathway depends on your citizenship, current status, and how long you can wait for a visa priority date to become current.
What qualifications does AccentCare expect for a COO hire?
AccentCare COO roles typically require demonstrated leadership of multi-site home health, hospice, or personal care operations. Hiring panels prioritize candidates with P&L accountability, experience navigating CMS regulatory requirements, and a track record of scaling clinical workforce operations. An advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field strengthens your candidacy, particularly if you're pursuing employment-based sponsorship where USCIS reviews educational credentials closely.
How do I estimate the timeline for AccentCare to complete Green Card sponsorship for a COO role?
The EB-2 or EB-3 PERM process through the DOL typically takes six to twelve months for labor certification alone, before USCIS even reviews the I-140 petition. If your country of birth is subject to visa backlog, the priority date wait can extend the total timeline significantly. Start the conversation with AccentCare's HR and legal team during the offer stage, not after onboarding, to align on when PERM filing will begin.
