Align your credentials to U.S. licensing requirements
Healthcare roles at AccentCare often require state-issued licenses or certifications before you can start. Confirm your credential evaluation and any required equivalency exams are complete before applying, so sponsorship conversations aren't delayed by licensing gaps.
Target AccentCare's home health and hospice openings
AccentCare concentrates its hiring in home health, hospice, and personal care services. Roles in these service lines are where the company has the most consistent demand, giving sponsored candidates a stronger foothold than applying to general corporate postings.
Clarify OPT authorization before your interview
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm that your STEM OPT extension applies to your specific healthcare role. AccentCare participates in E-Verify, which is required for STEM OPT employment, so having your EAD ready and your authorization period documented speeds up the offer process.
Ask directly about PERM labor certification timelines
EB-2 and EB-3 pathways require PERM labor certification through DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your petition. For healthcare roles, this process can take over a year, so ask your AccentCare recruiter early whether the role is scoped for permanent sponsorship and when they expect to initiate filing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter AccentCare healthcare roles by visa type
AccentCare posts healthcare roles across dozens of locations with varying sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by the visa types you're eligible for, so you're only spending time on roles where sponsorship is actually on the table.
Understand TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
AccentCare sponsors TN visas, which are available to Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying healthcare occupations including nurses and physical therapists. TN status requires no employer petition filed with USCIS and can often be obtained at a port of entry, making it one of the faster paths to starting work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does AccentCare sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
AccentCare's documented sponsorship activity for healthcare roles is concentrated in employment-based immigrant visa pathways like EB-2 and EB-3, practical training programs such as F-1 OPT and CPT, and TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican citizens. If H-1B visa sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, raise it explicitly during the offer stage, as availability can depend on the specific role and location.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare roles at AccentCare?
AccentCare sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories for healthcare professionals pursuing permanent residence, as well as F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates completing practical training. TN visas are also supported for Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying clinical occupations. The right pathway depends on your nationality, degree, and whether the role is scoped for permanent or temporary sponsorship.
What qualifications and experience does AccentCare expect for Healthcare roles?
Requirements vary by role, but clinical positions in home health and hospice typically require an active state license in the relevant discipline, such as RN, PT, OT, or SLP. For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, your degree and licensure must align with the DOL's occupational classification for the role. Relevant field experience in home-based or community care settings strengthens your application for AccentCare's service model specifically.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at AccentCare?
Browse AccentCare's open healthcare roles on Migrate Mate, where you can filter by visa type to identify positions that match your sponsorship needs. Once you find a relevant role, apply directly and communicate your visa status clearly in early conversations with the recruiter. Being upfront about your authorization timeline and any licensing requirements in your state helps avoid delays later in the process.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take for Healthcare roles at AccentCare?
Timeline depends heavily on the visa pathway. F-1 OPT authorization can allow you to start within weeks of an offer if your EAD is already approved. TN status for Canadian citizens can be obtained at the border on the day of travel. EB-2 and EB-3 pathways involving PERM labor certification and USCIS petition adjudication typically span one to three years, depending on your country of birth and current USCIS processing times.
