Verify Your Credentials Before Applying
AccentCare requires state licensure before you can start. Get your NCLEX-RN clearance and state nursing board application moving early. International nursing credentials often need CGFNS evaluation, which can take several months to complete.
Target AccentCare's Home Health Openings
AccentCare's Clinical RN roles are concentrated in home health and hospice, not hospital settings. Search specifically for those service lines when browsing openings. Use Migrate Mate to filter for AccentCare Clinical RN roles that include active sponsorship eligibility.
Ask Recruiters About EB-3 Sponsorship Directly
AccentCare has sponsored nurses through the EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathway. When you connect with a recruiter, ask whether the specific role being offered is approved for PERM labor certification sponsorship, since not every open position qualifies.
Understand the OPT to Sponsorship Transition
If you're on F-1 OPT, clarify the timeline for transitioning to a sponsored status before your OPT window closes. AccentCare has sponsored F-1 workers, but PERM and EB-3 processing can run 12 to 24 months or longer, so start that conversation early.
Confirm TN Eligibility for Canadian and Mexican Nurses
AccentCare sponsors TN status for qualifying nurses. Registered Nursing is a listed TN profession under USMCA, but you'll need a formal offer letter specifying the RN role, your credentials, and the terms of employment before crossing the border or filing with USCIS.
Prepare for Clinical Competency Assessments Upfront
AccentCare's hiring process for Clinical RNs typically includes skills and scenario-based assessments, particularly for home health roles where you'll work with minimal direct supervision. Having documentation of relevant clinical experience in wound care, IV therapy, or chronic disease management strengthens your candidacy significantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does AccentCare sponsor H-1B visas for Clinical Registered Nurses?
AccentCare's primary sponsorship pathways for Clinical RNs are employment-based Green Card categories, particularly EB-3, along with F-1 OPT and TN visa for eligible candidates. H-1B visa sponsorship for nursing roles is less common in the home health sector generally, since many RN positions are classified as specialty occupations on a case-by-case basis. Confirm directly with AccentCare's recruiting team which pathways apply to a specific role.
How do I apply for Clinical Registered Nurse jobs at AccentCare?
Browse current AccentCare Clinical RN openings on Migrate Mate, where you can filter specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship eligibility. Once you identify a position, apply through AccentCare's careers portal and note your work authorization needs in your application. Having your NCLEX-RN certification, state license, and any credential evaluation documents ready speeds up the recruiter screening process considerably.
Which visa types does AccentCare commonly use to sponsor Clinical Registered Nurses?
AccentCare has sponsored Clinical RNs through EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT for eligible nursing students, and TN status for Canadian and Mexican nurses who qualify under USMCA. The right pathway depends on your current status, citizenship, and the specific role offered. EB-3 with PERM labor certification is the most common long-term route for internationally trained nurses.
What qualifications and experience does AccentCare expect for Clinical RN roles?
AccentCare typically looks for a current, unencumbered RN license in the state where you'll work, at least one year of clinical experience, and strong proficiency in areas like wound care, medication management, and patient assessment. Home health experience is valued but not always required. For international nurses, a CGFNS credential evaluation and English proficiency documentation are standard prerequisites before sponsorship discussions begin.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take for Clinical RNs at AccentCare?
For TN and OPT candidates, the timeline from offer to start can be relatively short, often a few weeks to a couple of months. EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM is a longer process. DOL PERM labor certification alone typically takes six to 18 months, and USCIS processing adds additional time on top. Starting the conversation with AccentCare's HR team early in your job search gives you the best chance of managing these timelines effectively.
