Align your credentials with DaVita's clinical standards
DaVita operates under CMS certification requirements, so your foreign healthcare credentials must be evaluated by a NACES-recognized body before you apply. A credential gap at the offer stage can delay or derail your petition.
Use Migrate Mate to find DaVita Healthcare openings that explicitly support sponsorship
Not every DaVita posting flags visa support clearly. Migrate Mate filters for roles with confirmed sponsorship history, saving you the step of chasing recruiters for confirmation before you invest time in an application.
Prepare for DaVita's multi-stage interview process early
DaVita Healthcare interviews often include behavioral, clinical scenario, and culture-fit rounds. Sponsorship conversations typically happen after an offer is extended, so get through the process first and raise visa needs at the offer stage.
Understand how PERM timing affects Green Card planning
If you're targeting an EB-2 or EB-3 pathway through DaVita, PERM labor certification must be filed before your priority date can be established. Healthcare roles with licensure requirements can complicate prevailing wage determinations, so flag this with your employer contact early.

Find Healthcare at DaVita JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DaVita sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, DaVita sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Healthcare roles. The position must meet USCIS specialty occupation requirements, meaning it typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field directly related to the role. DaVita's HR and legal teams manage the petition process, but you'll need to raise sponsorship need at the offer stage since it's not always addressed earlier in the hiring process.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at DaVita?
You can search and apply through DaVita's careers portal directly, or use Migrate Mate to browse DaVita Healthcare roles that have a confirmed visa sponsorship history. When applying, match your resume to the specific clinical or operational function the role requires. Sponsorship eligibility is typically confirmed after a conditional offer, so apply based on your qualifications first.
Which visa types does DaVita commonly use for Healthcare roles?
DaVita sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation Healthcare roles and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students in healthcare-related programs. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible occupations on the USMCA list. For longer-term pathways, DaVita has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions for Healthcare professionals in roles that meet PERM labor certification requirements.
What qualifications does DaVita expect for Healthcare roles requiring sponsorship?
DaVita expects candidates to meet U.S. licensure or certification standards for their specific healthcare function, whether that's clinical, technical, or administrative. Foreign credentials typically need evaluation by a NACES-recognized credential assessment organization. For clinical roles, relevant U.S. work experience, completion of required exams, and active licensure in the state where you'd be working are common expectations before a sponsorship petition moves forward.
How do I plan the timeline for visa sponsorship at DaVita?
H-1B petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS accepting registrations in March for an October 1 start date. If you're currently on OPT, confirm your authorization end date and whether you qualify for a STEM extension, which provides up to 24 additional months. If you're pursuing a Green Card through DaVita, PERM processing at DOL can take many months before an I-140 petition can be filed, so start those conversations with your employer well in advance.
