Align your PMP credentials with DaVita's dialysis operations
DaVita's project management roles center on dialysis center operations, patient care workflows, and regulatory compliance. Highlight experience coordinating clinical or operational projects in a healthcare setting, not just general project management, when building your application materials.
Target DaVita's village operations and support center roles
DaVita fills Healthcare Project Manager positions across both its clinic network and corporate support centers. Corporate and shared services postings tend to have more structured sponsorship pathways than individual clinic-level roles, so prioritize those when searching.
Use Migrate Mate to filter roles by visa type
Searching DaVita's full job board manually won't show you which roles are open to sponsored candidates. Migrate Mate filters Healthcare Project Manager postings by sponsorship history, saving you from applying to positions that won't support your visa status.
Prepare your PERM documentation timeline early
If DaVita agrees to pursue an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathway, the DOL's PERM labor certification process can take 12 to 18 months before USCIS even receives your immigrant petition. Ask your recruiter about the company's established Green Card sponsorship process during offer negotiation.
Negotiate TN status as a faster entry point for Canadian and Mexican applicants
Healthcare Project Manager can qualify under the TN Management Consultant category if the role involves advisory-level project oversight. TN status can be processed at the border or a U.S. consulate without the H-1B lottery wait, making it a practical first step for eligible applicants.

Find Healthcare Project Manager at DaVita JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DaVita sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcare Project Managers?
Yes, DaVita has a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Healthcare Project Manager roles. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open requisition, so confirming visa support directly with the recruiter during the initial screening call is the most reliable approach. H-1B sponsorship at DaVita typically runs through their internal HR and legal teams rather than an outside staffing agency.
How do I apply for Healthcare Project Manager jobs at DaVita?
Applications go through DaVita's careers portal at davita.com. Tailor your resume to reflect healthcare operations experience, particularly anything involving dialysis, care coordination, or clinical compliance programs. Migrate Mate also lists DaVita's open Healthcare Project Manager positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which helps you identify the right requisitions before applying directly.
Which visa types does DaVita commonly use for Healthcare Project Manager roles?
DaVita sponsors H-1B visas for the majority of its international Healthcare Project Manager hires. The company also has experience with TN visas for Canadian and Mexican applicants, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates transitioning from academic programs, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for longer-term employees pursuing a Green Card. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and career stage.
What qualifications does DaVita expect for Healthcare Project Manager roles?
DaVita typically expects a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or a related field, along with a PMP certification or equivalent project management credential. Hands-on experience managing clinical or operational projects in a hospital, dialysis, or outpatient setting carries significant weight. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks such as CMS compliance or HIPAA requirements is a practical differentiator that shows up consistently in DaVita's job descriptions.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take if DaVita offers me a role?
Standard H-1B processing through USCIS takes three to five months after the April lottery selection. DaVita can file a premium processing request that reduces the adjudication window to roughly 15 business days for an additional government fee. If you're on F-1 OPT, your employment can begin immediately while the H-1B petition is pending, provided DaVita files before your OPT authorization expires and your cap-gap period covers the gap.
