Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Clinical Nurse Jobs at DaVita Jobs
Verify Your NCLEX and State License Early
DaVita requires active RN licensure before extending an offer. Start your NCLEX application and state Board of Nursing credentialing as soon as possible, since processing times vary by state and delays here stall everything downstream.
Target Dialysis-Specific Nursing Openings
DaVita's core business is kidney care, so Clinical Nurse roles are concentrated in outpatient dialysis settings. Prioritize postings that mention chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis, or peritoneal dialysis experience, as those align tightest with where DaVita sponsors visa petitions.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter DaVita Nurse Roles
Not every DaVita nursing posting is open to visa sponsorship candidates. Use Migrate Mate to filter Clinical Nurse openings at DaVita that explicitly support sponsorship, saving time you'd otherwise spend screening job listings manually.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During the Offer Stage
Before accepting an offer, ask DaVita's recruiter whether they're sponsoring an H-1B cap-subject petition or supporting a cap-exempt or transfer scenario. The answer affects your timeline significantly, especially if the April 1 USCIS filing window is relevant to your situation.
Align Your Credentials with DOL Prevailing Wage Standards
DaVita must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B petition. Ensure your offered salary meets the prevailing wage for RNs in the specific geographic area of your clinic, since wage level directly affects LCA approval.
Prepare a Strong Employment History for PERM if Applicable
If DaVita pursues an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card for you through PERM, the DOL requires documented proof that no qualified U.S. worker was available. Keep thorough records of your nursing experience and certifications, as these support the employer's recruitment documentation.

Find Clinical Nurse at DaVita JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DaVita sponsor H-1B visas for Clinical Nurses?
Yes, DaVita sponsors H-1B visas for Clinical Nurse roles. As a large healthcare employer operating dialysis clinics across the country, DaVita has an established process for H-1B petitions. You'll need active RN licensure in the relevant state before the petition can be filed, and your offered salary must meet the DOL prevailing wage for your location.
Which visa types does DaVita commonly sponsor for Clinical Nurses?
DaVita sponsors H-1B visas most commonly for Clinical Nurses, and the company also supports EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for longer-term employment. F-1 OPT and CPT candidates in nursing programs may be eligible during training periods, and TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican RNs who qualify under the USMCA professional category for nurses.
How do I apply for Clinical Nurse jobs at DaVita?
You can search and apply for Clinical Nurse roles directly through DaVita's careers site, filtering by location and job type. To find openings that explicitly support visa sponsorship, browse DaVita listings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles where sponsorship is confirmed. Have your RN license, NCLEX results, and any dialysis-specific certifications ready before you apply.
What qualifications does DaVita expect for sponsored Clinical Nurse roles?
DaVita requires an active RN license in the state where you'll work, earned through NCLEX-RN. For dialysis-specific roles, experience with hemodialysis or chronic kidney disease management is a strong differentiator. Some postings prefer or require a Certified Nephrology Nurse credential. Foreign-educated nurses must also have their credentials evaluated by a NCSBN-recognized credentialing body before licensure.
How do I understand the timeline for H-1B sponsorship at DaVita?
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, USCIS only accepts petitions once per year, with registration opening in March and employment starting no earlier than October 1. DaVita must file your Labor Condition Application with the DOL before the petition is submitted. Cap-exempt scenarios, such as transferring from another H-1B employer, allow year-round filing with faster timelines.
