Verify Your State Licensure Before Applying
AccentCare operates in multiple states, and each requires an active OT license before you can practice. Confirm your license is transferable or endorsed in the state where the role is posted before submitting your application.
Target AccentCare's Home Health Openings Specifically
AccentCare's Occupational Therapist vacancies are concentrated in home health, not inpatient settings. Filtering your search to home health roles narrows competition and puts you in front of the hiring teams most familiar with sponsoring clinical staff.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter AccentCare OT Roles by Visa Type
AccentCare sponsors multiple visa categories for Occupational Therapists. Migrate Mate lets you filter open roles by the specific visa type you hold or need, so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship aligns with your situation.
Prepare Your Credential Evaluation for EB-2 or EB-3 Filing
If you're pursuing permanent residency through AccentCare, PERM labor certification requires your foreign degree to be evaluated by a NACES-approved organization. Start this process early since evaluations can take several weeks and PERM filing cannot proceed without it.
Confirm TN Status Covers Your Specific OT Duties
TN visa eligibility for Occupational Therapists requires the role to match TN-qualifying criteria under USMCA. If AccentCare's OT position includes supervisory or non-clinical administrative duties, confirm with the hiring team that the role description stays within TN scope before your border crossing.
Ask About OPT Cap-Gap Coverage During the Offer Stage
If your F-1 OPT expires before your start date or during onboarding, AccentCare's HR team needs to know immediately. Cap-gap protection under an H-1B registration can bridge that gap, but AccentCare must initiate the H-1B process before your OPT expires.

Find Occupational Therapist at AccentCare JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does AccentCare sponsor H-1B visas for Occupational Therapists?
AccentCare has sponsored employment-based visas for Occupational Therapists, though H-1B sponsorship depends on role availability, timing relative to the annual lottery, and the hiring team's assessment of your credentials. Because the H-1B cap opens each April for an October 1 start, aligning your job search timeline with AccentCare's hiring cycle matters. Confirm sponsorship intent explicitly during your interview process.
How do I apply for Occupational Therapist jobs at AccentCare?
You can browse and apply for Occupational Therapist roles at AccentCare directly through Migrate Mate, which filters AccentCare's open positions by visa type so you only see roles where your sponsorship needs are supported. Applications typically require a current resume, active or pending state OT licensure, and relevant clinical experience in home health or post-acute care.
Which visa types does AccentCare commonly use to sponsor Occupational Therapists?
AccentCare has sponsored Occupational Therapists through F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and career stage. TN and OPT are typically faster to arrange, while EB-2 and EB-3 involve PERM labor certification and longer timelines.
What qualifications does AccentCare expect from Occupational Therapist candidates?
AccentCare generally expects a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, an active state license in the state where the role is located, and NBCOT certification or eligibility. Home health experience is a strong differentiator for most of their OT openings. Candidates with foreign degrees will need a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator for visa filing purposes.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an AccentCare OT role?
Timeline depends on the visa type. TN visas for qualifying Canadian or Mexican nationals can be obtained at the border in a single day with the right documentation. F-1 OPT authorization through USCIS takes up to 90 days, so apply well before your program end date. EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, which requires PERM labor certification through DOL, typically takes one to three years from initial filing.
