Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding COO Jobs at Jobot
Frame your resume around P&L ownership
Jobot hires COOs to own operational outcomes across its recruiting divisions. Before applying, restructure your resume to highlight revenue accountability, headcount scaling, and process infrastructure you've built. Staffing firms prioritize operators who have run business units, not just managed teams.
Verify Jobot's E-Verify enrollment before applying
Sponsors filing H-1B or TN petitions are required to use E-Verify for employment eligibility. Confirm Jobot's enrollment status through the E-Verify employer search before your first interview so you're not caught off guard during the offer stage.
Target Jobot's fastest-growing regional markets
Jobot's COO openings are distributed across multiple markets, and headcount pressure in high-growth regions creates genuine urgency to fill senior roles. Prioritize locations where Jobot is actively expanding its recruiting operations when selecting which job postings to pursue.
Use Migrate Mate to filter COO openings by visa type
Not every Jobot COO posting reflects active sponsorship intent. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically by visa type so you're only spending time on roles where H-1B or TN sponsorship is confirmed, not inferred.
Get your credential evaluation done before the offer
If your degree was issued outside the U.S., USCIS requires a credential evaluation from a recognized organization like WES for H-1B petitions. For a COO role, your degree field and seniority tier both factor into specialty occupation classification, so don't leave this until after you receive an offer.
Clarify TN eligibility early if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
COO roles can qualify under the TN Management Consultant category, but the classification requires a clear business justification from your employer. Raise this in the offer negotiation stage so Jobot's legal team can assess the fit before filing, not after.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for COOs?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for roles including COO-level positions. As a staffing and recruiting firm, Jobot is familiar with the H-1B petition process. That said, sponsorship decisions are made on a role-by-role basis, so you'll want to confirm active sponsorship intent with the recruiter early in the conversation, before the offer stage.
Which visa types are commonly used for COO roles at Jobot?
H-1B is the most commonly used visa for COO roles at Jobot. If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, TN visa status under the Management Consultant category may also be an option, depending on how the role is scoped. F-1 OPT has also been used, though it requires careful timing given OPT's duration limits and the H-1B cap lottery cycle.
What qualifications and experience does Jobot expect for COO roles?
Jobot's COO openings in the staffing and recruiting space typically require demonstrated experience running operations at scale, including P&L responsibility, team leadership, and process development. A bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field is generally expected, and many postings prefer candidates who have worked within staffing, HR technology, or professional services environments.
How do I apply for COO jobs at Jobot?
You can browse and apply for COO roles at Jobot directly through Migrate Mate, which filters Jobot postings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm H-1B or TN eligibility before applying. When you reach out to a Jobot recruiter, be direct about your sponsorship needs upfront. Jobot's recruiting process moves quickly, so having your resume and any credential evaluations ready before your first call saves time.
How do I time my H-1B application when pursuing a COO role at Jobot?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year, with an October 1 start date for approved petitions. If you're targeting a COO role at Jobot and are subject to the cap, you'll need an offer finalized before March for that filing cycle. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, your OPT end date should align with the October start date or you'll need a bridge, such as a timely STEM OPT extension if you qualify.
