Verify Your Nursing License Before Applying
Jobot fills roles for client employers who need candidates ready to work quickly. Have your NCLEX results, state nursing license, and any specialty certifications current before submitting an application so you're not disqualified mid-process.
Clarify Who Files the Visa Petition
As a staffing firm, Jobot places you at a client facility, so the sponsoring employer may be the end client rather than Jobot itself. Ask your recruiter directly which entity files the H-1B or LCA petition before accepting any offer.
Target Roles Matching Your Specialty and State
Jobot lists nursing openings across dozens of specialties and states. Filtering by specialty, such as ICU or med-surg, alongside states where your nursing license is active significantly narrows your list to positions where sponsorship is actually viable for you.
Align Your Application Timeline with H-1B Cap Dates
H-1B registrations open each March for an October 1 start. If you're pursuing a cap-subject petition through Jobot, your job offer and recruiter conversations need to be in place well before registration opens, not after lottery results arrive.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Jobot Nursing Openings
Search Migrate Mate to browse Jobot nursing listings filtered by visa type. This lets you identify which active roles align with your authorization status without sorting through postings that don't offer sponsorship at all.
Confirm Labor Condition Application Coverage with Your Recruiter
For H-1B nursing roles, the DOL-certified LCA must cover the specific worksite where you'll practice. Staffing placements sometimes involve multiple facilities, so confirm your LCA reflects every location you'll work before your petition is filed.

Find Nursing at Jobot JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Nursings?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for nursing roles. Because Jobot operates as a staffing firm, sponsorship arrangements can vary depending on the end client facility. Confirm with your recruiter whether Jobot or the client employer is the petitioning entity, and verify that the Labor Condition Application filed with the DOL covers your assigned worksite.
How do I apply for Nursing jobs at Jobot?
Apply directly through Jobot's website or browse their nursing listings on Migrate Mate, which filters openings by visa sponsorship type. When you apply, specify your work authorization status clearly in your profile. Jobot recruiters typically reach out quickly, so having your nursing license, NCLEX documentation, and resume ready before applying speeds up the initial screening.
Which visa types does Jobot use for Nursing roles?
Jobot has sponsored nursing candidates under H-1B and TN visas, and has also supported F-1 OPT holders in nursing-adjacent and clinical roles. TN visas apply only to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying nursing occupations. H-1B remains the most common pathway for registered nurses in specialty roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree in nursing.
What qualifications does Jobot expect for sponsored Nursing positions?
Most sponsored nursing roles at Jobot require an active U.S. state nursing license, NCLEX passage, and relevant clinical experience in the specialty being hired for. For H-1B eligibility, the position must qualify as a specialty occupation, which generally means a bachelor's degree in nursing is the minimum requirement. Specialty certifications in areas like critical care or emergency nursing strengthen your candidacy.
How do I plan my timeline for a sponsored Nursing role at Jobot?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, start conversations with Jobot recruiters by December or January so an offer is in place before the March registration window. For TN visas, the timeline is more flexible since TN status can be obtained at a port of entry without USCIS advance approval. F-1 OPT holders should track their OPT end date and discuss cap-gap or H-1B options with the recruiter early.
