Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Nursing Jobs at PruittHealth Jobs
Verify Your Credentials Before Applying
State nursing boards require NCLEX passage and credential evaluation before you can practice. Have your foreign nursing diploma evaluated by a CGFNS-approved agency and confirm your license is active in the state where PruittHealth is hiring before submitting any application.
Target Facilities With Consistent Nursing Openings
PruittHealth operates skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across multiple Southeastern states. Search by facility type rather than just job title, since RN and LPN roles at SNFs often have different sponsorship timelines and credential requirements than hospital settings.
Understand the EB-3 Timeline for Healthcare Workers
EB-3 immigrant visas for nurses involve PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take a year or more before USCIS even begins adjudicating your petition. Build that timeline into your planning so you're not caught without valid work authorization during the process.
Clarify OPT or TN Coverage Early in Interviews
If you're on F-1 OPT or hold TN status, confirm with PruittHealth's HR team whether your current authorization covers the specific nursing role and facility location. Long-term care facilities occasionally have state-specific scope-of-practice rules that affect work authorization compatibility.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Nursing Roles by Visa Type
Not every PruittHealth facility posting specifies which visa pathways are supported. Use Migrate Mate to browse open nursing roles filtered by the sponsorship types PruittHealth has used, so you can target positions where your visa situation is already a fit.
Ask Recruiters About Concurrent I-485 Filing Eligibility
If your priority date is current at the time PruittHealth files your I-140, you may be able to file for adjustment of status concurrently, cutting months off your wait. Confirm this directly with the recruiter or immigration counsel handling your case before your offer letter is finalized.

Find Nursing at PruittHealth JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does PruittHealth sponsor H-1B visas for Nursings?
PruittHealth's primary sponsorship pathways for nursing roles are EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas rather than H-1B. Nursing positions are classified as specialty occupations under H-1B, but long-term care employers in this sector more commonly pursue permanent resident pathways through PERM and I-140 petitions. If you're currently on F-1 OPT or TN status, those are more likely bridges while immigrant visa processing continues.
How do I apply for Nursing jobs at PruittHealth?
Applications go through PruittHealth's careers portal, where you can filter by role type and state. For international candidates, flag your visa status early in the process so the recruiting team can route your file correctly. Migrate Mate also lists PruittHealth nursing openings filtered by sponsorship type, which helps you identify which roles align with your current authorization before you apply.
Which visa types does PruittHealth commonly use for Nursing roles?
PruittHealth has sponsored nurses through EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, as well as F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for nursing students completing clinical placements. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying nursing roles. The immigrant pathways involve PERM labor certification through DOL, followed by an I-140 petition with USCIS.
What qualifications does PruittHealth expect for sponsored Nursing positions?
You'll need an active U.S. state nursing license or a verified eligibility letter from the relevant state board, plus NCLEX passage. For foreign-educated nurses, a credential evaluation from a CGFNS-approved organization is standard. Long-term care and skilled nursing facility roles often require experience with elderly or post-acute patients, which PruittHealth's facilities primarily serve across the Southeast.
How long does the sponsorship process typically take for a Nursing role at PruittHealth?
The EB-3 pathway for nurses, which is the most common route, runs through PERM labor certification at DOL, then I-140 adjudication at USCIS, and finally visa issuance or adjustment of status. End-to-end timelines commonly range from two to four years depending on your country of birth and priority date movement. Starting while you're on a valid nonimmigrant status gives you the most flexibility.
