Align Your Resume to Client-Facing Roles
Jobot fills Supply Chain Manager positions for client companies, not just internal roles. Tailor your resume to show direct experience managing suppliers, logistics networks, or procurement cycles so recruiters can match you to active client openings quickly.
Clarify Sponsorship Before Recruiter Screening
Jobot recruiters screen fast and move candidates to clients quickly. State your visa type and work authorization status in your opening message so the recruiter can confirm the client employer is willing to sponsor before you invest time in the process.
Verify the End Client Sponsors Independently
As a staffing firm, Jobot places you with client companies who ultimately control sponsorship decisions. Ask your recruiter which entity files the H-1B petition and confirm the end client is registered with E-Verify, since H-1B employers are required to participate.
Gather LCA-Ready Documentation Before Offers Move
Jobot placements can move from offer to filing quickly. Have your degree transcripts, employment verification letters, and any credential evaluations ready in advance so your employer can file the Labor Condition Application with DOL without delays on your end.
Target Supply Chain Roles Matching Your OPT Window
If you're on F-1 OPT, prioritize Jobot openings in manufacturing, logistics, or operations where STEM OPT extensions apply. A 24-month extension gives your employer enough runway to sponsor an H-1B petition through the annual lottery cycle.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Sponsoring Openings
Not every Jobot listing on general job boards flags visa sponsorship clearly. Use Migrate Mate to browse Supply Chain Manager openings at Jobot that are verified for sponsorship eligibility, so you focus your applications where your visa status is already accounted for.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain Managers?
Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for Supply Chain Manager roles, but sponsorship decisions depend on the end client company rather than Jobot alone. Because Jobot operates as a staffing firm, the client employer where you'd be placed typically drives the sponsorship decision. Confirm with your Jobot recruiter whether the specific client opening includes H-1B sponsorship before progressing through interviews.
How do I apply for Supply Chain Manager jobs at Jobot?
You can apply directly through Jobot's website or find their Supply Chain Manager listings on Migrate Mate, which filters for roles that include visa sponsorship. When you reach out, be upfront about your visa status in your first message to the recruiter. Jobot's process moves quickly, so having your resume tailored to supply chain operations, procurement, or logistics before you apply speeds up placement.
Which visa types are commonly used for Supply Chain Manager roles at Jobot?
Jobot has worked with candidates on H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Supply Chain Manager positions. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose roles fall under the NAFTA-successor USMCA professional categories. F-1 OPT candidates in supply chain or operations management fields may also qualify for STEM OPT extensions, providing additional time before an H-1B petition is needed.
What qualifications does Jobot expect for Supply Chain Manager positions?
Jobot fills Supply Chain Manager roles across industries including manufacturing, distribution, and retail on behalf of client companies, so requirements vary by placement. Most openings expect hands-on experience managing procurement, inventory, vendor relationships, or end-to-end logistics. A bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business, or engineering is the baseline. Certifications such as APICS CSCP or CPIM strengthen your profile for H-1B specialty occupation classification, since the degree-to-role alignment directly affects petition approval.
How do I handle the H-1B lottery timeline when working with a staffing firm like Jobot?
USCIS opens H-1B registration each March for the following October 1 start date, so timing your job search to secure an offer by February gives Jobot and the client employer time to register you. If you're on OPT when the lottery runs, a cap-gap provision lets you continue working past your OPT expiration while your approved petition is pending. Discuss this timeline explicitly with your recruiter so the client company plans accordingly.
