Align your credentials to semiconductor supply chain
Applied Materials prioritizes candidates with experience in electronics or hardware manufacturing supply chains. Before applying, document any exposure to supplier qualification, wafer fab materials, or capital equipment procurement so your resume maps directly to their operational context.
Target roles tied to specific fabs or campuses
Supply Chain Manager openings at Applied Materials are often tied to manufacturing sites in Santa Clara, Austin, or Singapore-facing procurement teams. Filtering by location in your application helps you identify roles where sponsorship decisions are made at the business unit level.
Understand which visa pathway fits your background
Applied Materials sponsors H-1B, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and OPT for F-1 graduates. If you're mid-career with a qualifying degree, H-1B is the standard path. TN moves faster for eligible candidates and bypasses the annual lottery entirely.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Supply Chain Manager roles
Applied Materials posts supply chain roles across multiple channels and not all surface easily on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Applied Materials Supply Chain Manager positions that include visa sponsorship so you're only applying where sponsorship is confirmed.
Prepare your PERM documentation before an offer converts
If Applied Materials extends a permanent offer and pursues a Green Card through PERM, DOL requires proof that no qualified U.S. worker was available. Start organizing performance records, role scope documentation, and degree equivalency evaluations early so the process doesn't stall after your offer.

Find Supply Chain Manager at Applied Materials JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Applied Materials sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain Managers?
Yes, Applied Materials sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain Manager roles. The company has a dedicated immigration team that manages filings across its U.S. operations. Because H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, offers for international candidates are typically timed so USCIS registration can be submitted each March for an October 1 start date.
Which visa types does Applied Materials commonly use for Supply Chain Manager roles?
Applied Materials uses H-1B for most international hires in supply chain, along with H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals. F-1 OPT and CPT are used for students and recent graduates, and TN status covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles. EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories are available for candidates pursuing permanent residency.
What qualifications does Applied Materials expect for Supply Chain Manager roles?
Applied Materials typically expects a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business, or a related field. Hands-on experience with semiconductor or electronics hardware supply chains carries significant weight, particularly in areas like supplier development, demand planning, or capital equipment procurement. Familiarity with ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment is commonly required.
How do I apply for Supply Chain Manager jobs at Applied Materials?
You can search and apply for Supply Chain Manager roles directly on the Applied Materials careers site or through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles at Applied Materials that include visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect electronics or semiconductor supply chain experience and clearly indicate your visa status so the recruiting team can assess sponsorship feasibility early in the process.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for a Supply Chain Manager role?
USCIS opens H-1B registration each March, and the earliest an approved H-1B can begin is October 1. That means your offer needs to be in place before March for your employer to register you in that year's lottery. If you're on OPT with STEM extension, you have up to three years of work authorization, which gives you more flexibility to start before your H-1B is approved.
