Verify Your State License Covers Remote Review
Acentra Health's Clinical Nurse roles often involve utilization management and care coordination rather than bedside care. Confirm your RN license is active in the state tied to the position, as multi-state compact licenses can affect your H-1B petition's worksite classification.
Target Utilization Review Postings Specifically
Acentra Health's nursing openings span case management, prior authorization, and clinical review. Roles explicitly labeled utilization review or UR nurse align most consistently with specialty occupation standards USCIS applies when adjudicating H-1B petitions for nursing positions at health tech companies.
Request Sponsorship Confirmation Before Final Interviews
Acentra Health operates under government contracts where hiring timelines move quickly. Ask the recruiter directly whether the specific requisition is approved for H-1B sponsorship before investing in technical assessments, so you don't reach offer stage without clarity.
Prepare for PERM Documentation Early
If your goal is an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card through Acentra Health, the PERM labor certification requires detailed employment history, credentials, and foreign degree evaluations. Gather certified transcripts and a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before your first interview.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Active Sponsorship Openings
Not every Clinical Nurse listing at Acentra Health is open to sponsored candidates. Use Migrate Mate to browse roles confirmed for visa sponsorship, so you spend your applications on positions where sponsorship is already on the table.
Align Your Resume to DOL Specialty Occupation Standards
For H-1B approval in a clinical nursing role at a health technology company, your resume should foreground specialized clinical judgment, BSN or higher credentials, and any certifications like CCM or CPHQ that demonstrate the role requires specialized knowledge beyond generalist nursing.

Find Clinical Nurse at Acentra Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Acentra Health sponsor H-1B visas for Clinical Nurses?
Yes, Acentra Health sponsors H-1B visas for Clinical Nurse roles. Because their nursing positions typically involve utilization review, care management, or clinical program oversight rather than direct bedside care, these roles can meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria when supported by a BSN or higher and strong clinical specialization credentials.
Which visa types are commonly used for Clinical Nurse roles at Acentra Health?
Acentra Health sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant pathways for Clinical Nurses. The H-1B is the most common route for initial work authorization. For longer-term permanent residency, the company supports EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card petitions, which require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition.
What qualifications and experience does Acentra Health expect for Clinical Nurse roles?
Acentra Health's Clinical Nurse openings typically require an active RN license, a BSN as a minimum educational credential, and experience in utilization management, case management, or a related clinical specialty. Certifications such as Certified Case Manager (CCM) or clinical documentation improvement credentials strengthen your application and support the specialty occupation argument in an H-1B petition.
How do I apply for Clinical Nurse jobs at Acentra Health?
You can find and apply for Clinical Nurse positions at Acentra Health through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm a role supports H-1B or Green Card sponsorship before applying. Once you identify an open role, apply directly through Acentra Health's careers portal and note your sponsorship needs in the application screening questions.
How do I estimate the timeline from job offer to H-1B approval at Acentra Health?
After accepting an offer, Acentra Health's legal team files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically clears within seven business days. The H-1B petition is then filed with USCIS. Standard processing takes three to six months; premium processing reduces that to roughly 15 business days. Cap-subject petitions must also align with the April 1 filing window, so your start date is tied to the lottery and fiscal year cycle.
