Align Your Resume to Field Operations
Aggreko's Events roles center on on-site equipment deployment, power distribution, and client coordination at live venues. Tailor your resume to show direct experience managing temporary infrastructure or utilities at events, not just event planning or logistics coordination.
Target Roles Tied to Major Event Seasons
Aggreko's Events hiring tends to cluster around peak seasons for festivals, sporting events, and corporate activations. Applying three to four months before summer or year-end event cycles puts your application in front of hiring managers when headcount decisions are actively being made.
Confirm Your TN Eligibility Before Applying
TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. If you're targeting Aggreko as a TN applicant, verify your specific Events role maps to an eligible TN occupation under USMCA before negotiating an offer, since not all technician titles qualify.
Clarify OPT Cap-Gap Coverage During Hiring
If your F-1 OPT expires while an H-1B petition is pending, cap-gap protection through USCIS extends your work authorization until October 1. Raise this timeline early in offer negotiations so Aggreko's HR team can coordinate the I-129 filing with your OPT expiration date.
Browse Open Positions Through Migrate Mate
Aggreko posts Events openings across multiple locations and project types. Use Migrate Mate to filter current listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're only spending time on roles where your work authorization status is already a fit for the employer.
Ask Specifically About LCA Prevailing Wage Coverage
For H-1B roles, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL certifying your offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the role and location. In the Rental and Leasing industry, Events roles often span multiple work sites, so confirm the LCA covers your primary deployment location.

Find Events at Aggreko JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Aggreko sponsor H-1B visas for Events roles?
Aggreko has sponsored H-1B visas for workers in its operations, including Events functions. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open role, so the practical step is to confirm sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter early in the process. Roles tied to long-term project deployments are generally more likely to support H-1B petitions than short-term contract positions.
How do I apply for Events jobs at Aggreko?
You can find open Events positions at Aggreko through their careers page or by browsing Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility. When applying, highlight hands-on experience with temporary power, generator systems, or on-site event infrastructure. Follow up with the recruiter to confirm sponsorship availability before investing significant time in the process.
Which visa types are commonly used for Events roles at Aggreko?
Aggreko has sponsored H-1B visas and also works with candidates on F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN status for Events roles. OPT and CPT are typically available to recent graduates early in their careers, while TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible professional categories. H-1B remains the primary long-term option for most international candidates.
What qualifications does Aggreko expect for Events positions?
Aggreko's Events roles in the Rental and Leasing industry typically require technical knowledge of temporary power systems, generators, or temperature control equipment, combined with experience coordinating large-scale deployments at live events or construction sites. A background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or field operations strengthens your application. Client-facing and project management experience is valued given the on-site nature of the work.
How do I handle visa timing when pursuing an Events offer at Aggreko?
Timeline depends on your current status. For H-1B, USCIS cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so your offer needs to be in place before the March registration window. If you're on OPT, confirm your expiration date and whether cap-gap coverage applies. Raise your status and timeline with Aggreko's recruiter before an offer is extended to avoid last-minute complications.
