Frame Your PMP Around Field Operations
Aggreko Project Managers coordinate equipment deployment on active industrial and energy sites, not just office-based timelines. Tailor your resume and credentials to show hands-on site coordination, not just project software proficiency or theoretical methodology.
Target Roles Near Major Energy Hubs
Aggreko's Project Manager openings concentrate around energy infrastructure corridors in Texas, Louisiana, and the Gulf Coast. Applying to locations where their operational density is highest improves your chances of reaching a hiring manager who regularly works with sponsored employees.
Prepare a Specialty Occupation Argument for H-1B
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for Project Manager roles because the title is broad. Gather documentation showing your role requires a specific bachelor's degree field, such as engineering or construction management, not just general business experience.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Aggreko Openings by Visa Type
Aggreko posts Project Manager roles across multiple regions at different sponsorship stages. Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by visa type so you apply to listings where your current status is already a fit rather than guessing from a standard job board.
Align Your Start Date With the H-1B Cap Calendar
If Aggreko extends an offer requiring H-1B sponsorship, your earliest possible start date is October 1 of the cap year following your April registration. Build this into salary and relocation conversations before signing an offer letter.

Find Project Manager at Aggreko JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Aggreko sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Aggreko has sponsored H-1B visas for Project Manager roles. Because the H-1B designation requires demonstrating a specialty occupation, your application is strongest when the role clearly mandates a degree in a specific field like engineering or project management rather than a generalist background. Confirm sponsorship availability with the recruiter during your first conversation.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Manager roles at Aggreko?
Aggreko sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Project Manager positions. F-1 OPT and CPT suit candidates still within their post-graduation authorization window. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering or management categories. H-1B is the standard long-term path for those not covered by the other categories.
What qualifications does Aggreko expect for Project Manager roles?
Aggreko typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field. Field experience coordinating equipment or infrastructure deployments carries significant weight, as their Project Managers work on live industrial and energy sites. A PMP certification strengthens your application but is rarely listed as a hard requirement in their postings.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Aggreko?
You can browse and apply for Project Manager openings at Aggreko through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your status is supported before applying. Applications typically move through an initial recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview focused on operational experience, and a final round that may include a technical scenario exercise.
How do I manage the timeline if Aggreko offers H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B cap registrations open in March each year, with USCIS conducting the lottery in April. If selected, your earliest employment start date under cap status is October 1. If you receive an offer before registration opens, negotiate a conditional start date that accounts for this window. Candidates already on OPT or TN may be able to start sooner while the H-1B petition is pending.
