Target engineering and R&D roles first
Agility Robotics' core work in humanoid robotics and autonomous systems means the strongest sponsorship pathways run through mechanical, electrical, and software engineering roles. Prioritize positions where your technical background directly supports Digit's development and deployment.
Understand which visa types they support
Agility Robotics sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. If you're on OPT or CPT, you may be able to start working before a full H-1B petition is filed, which reduces the urgency around sponsorship timing during your job search.
Apply before OPT or CPT deadlines
Because Agility Robotics operates in a specialized manufacturing and robotics space, hiring cycles can move deliberately. Build in lead time if your work authorization is expiring so the company has room to process your sponsorship without timeline pressure on either side.
Highlight specialized technical skills clearly
For a company building advanced bipedal robots, sponsoring a visa requires justifying the hire. Make sure your resume emphasizes skills in areas like locomotion, perception, control systems, or manufacturing automation that directly map to Agility Robotics' product roadmap and team needs.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for verified sponsors
Not every robotics or manufacturing employer will sponsor, and it's hard to know who actually files. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your applications on companies like Agility Robotics that have a confirmed track record.
Research Digit's manufacturing and deployment pipeline
Agility Robotics is actively scaling Digit into commercial manufacturing environments. Roles tied to production, deployment, and field operations are growing alongside R&D. Demonstrating awareness of where the company is in its commercialization journey strengthens your case in interviews.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Agility Robotics sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Agility Robotics sponsors H-1B visas. The company has filed H-1B petitions for roles in its engineering and robotics teams. While it is not among the highest-volume sponsors in the manufacturing sector, it has an active sponsorship history. Roles in software, mechanical, and electrical engineering are the most likely candidates for H-1B sponsorship.
Which visa types does Agility Robotics sponsor?
Agility Robotics sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers both students transitioning from U.S. universities and professionals from Canada or Mexico qualifying under TN categories. The company does not have a documented history of Green Card sponsorship, so candidates seeking permanent residency support should clarify this directly during the hiring process.
Which departments or roles at Agility Robotics are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Engineering roles are the primary recipients of visa sponsorship at Agility Robotics, particularly in robotics software, mechanical engineering, and systems integration. Given the company's focus on building and commercializing Digit, roles tied to motion planning, perception, hardware development, and manufacturing deployment are where sponsored hires have historically concentrated.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Agility Robotics?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find sponsored positions at Agility Robotics. It surfaces roles from verified sponsoring employers, so you can confirm Agility Robotics is actively hiring international candidates before investing time in an application. Filtering by visa type helps you match openings to your specific authorization, whether that's H-1B, OPT, or TN.
How do I approach the application process at Agility Robotics as an international candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process. Agility Robotics has sponsored visas before, but it is a growth-stage company with a deliberate hiring process. Apply to roles where your technical background clearly aligns with humanoid robotics or advanced manufacturing. If you're on OPT or CPT, emphasize that you can start immediately, which reduces the complexity of initial sponsorship.
