Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or social services and two (2) years’ experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development of which one (1) year of experience in direct management or a lead/coordinating role; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. Applicants within six months of meeting the minimum education/experience requirement may be considered for trainee status.
A Valid Florida Driver License is required and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets the requirements of Alachua County policy #6-7; Motor Vehicle Records will be reviewed prior to employment. If, in the past 24-month period, the applicants Motor Vehicle Record has more than three (3) moving traffic infractions or three (3) or more at fault motor vehicle accidents (or combination of both and /or a conviction/pending charge for driving under the influence) or is in violation of any standard mandated by Federal or State Law or Regulation, the minimum qualifications are not met for the position.
Successful completion of pre-hire drug screen and successful completion of all applicable background checks pre-hire and ongoing are required.
Position Summary
This is professional work in the oversight and coordination of assigned programs and management of services within the Welfare Transition/Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (WT/SNAP) at CareerSource North Central Florida (CSNCFL).
The employee assigned to this classification ensures the efficient and effective operation and integration of WT/SNAP Program services, procedures, and resources; evaluates the service activities resolving problems or concerns; and monitors program performance.
Work is performed under the direction of a higher-level supervisor and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of results obtained.

Advocates building organizational culture through aligning decisions with core values.
Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees including determining work procedures and schedules; issuing instructions and assigning duties; reviewing work; recommending personnel actions; conducting performance reviews; and conducting training and orientation.
Coordinates and monitors hardship exemption processes.
Coordinates, monitors, and approves Up-Front Diversions.
Engages in information exchange to ensure job candidates are aware of and know how to access the full menu of CareerSource North Central Florida employment services.
Performs core, intensive, case management and customer service quality reviews.
Prepares for and attends hearings and follow-ups.
Reviews and assigns case alerts daily for the region.
Coordinates the transfer of cases in and out of the region.
Monitors employees’ performance, tracks and recommends corrective action.
Reviews and signs training vouchers and requests for purchases.
Conducts customer-tracking reports including caseload sizes, Job Participation Rate hours assigned, and Entered Employment Wage Rate.
Answers questions about services for the public and candidates.
Organizes and conducts team meetings and training.
Coordinates and monitors technical issues for staff.
Coordinates data collection and program evaluation ensuring that all programs and activities are implemented according to relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Manages multiple priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
Maintains compliance with all personnel policies and procedures.
Researches and reports area needs, trend analysis, and other requested information pertaining to the WT/SNAP Programs.
Implements and conducts workshops for employability purposes.
Coordinates, monitors, and acts as the liaison in resolving complex issues preventing program participation or barriers to employment.
Works with community partners to ensure professional relationships and resolve issues.
Works retail hours and/or hours as assigned.
Drives a personal vehicle regularly to perform duties as required.
