Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
ALSO's sponsorship activity is concentrated in roles requiring specialized technical or professional qualifications. Focus your application on engineering, operations technology, or similar functions where a degree requirement is clear and directly tied to the position.
Australian candidates should explore the E-3 pathway
ALSO has sponsored E-3 visas, making it a viable target for Australian nationals. The E-3 has no lottery and faster processing than the H-1B, so highlight your Australian citizenship early in outreach to signal a lower sponsorship burden for the employer.
Understand manufacturing hiring cycles before you apply
Manufacturing companies like ALSO often hire in alignment with project pipelines and production planning cycles. Research their product lines and recent announcements to time your application when headcount needs are most likely to be active.
Lead with technical expertise, not visa needs, in your application
Sponsorship decisions in manufacturing hinge on whether a candidate fills a genuine skills gap. Frame your application around specialized knowledge, process engineering, supply chain, quality systems, before raising visa requirements in conversations with recruiters.
Verify ALSO's open roles through a platform with real sponsorship data
Not every job posting signals genuine sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm ALSO is actively hiring for visa-eligible roles before investing time in an application.
Prepare for a multi-stage timeline typical of manufacturing sponsors
Companies in manufacturing often move through structured hiring processes involving technical assessments and cross-functional approvals. Build extra lead time into your job search to account for both the employer's internal process and any visa filing deadlines you're working against.

Does ALSO sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, ALSO sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active track record of filing H-1B petitions for roles in the manufacturing sector, typically for positions that meet the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with technical or professional degrees aligned to ALSO's core operations are the strongest fit for H-1B sponsorship consideration.
Which visa types does ALSO sponsor?
ALSO sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas. The H-1B is the primary pathway for most international candidates, while the E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and offers a faster, lottery-free alternative. If you hold Australian citizenship and qualify for a specialty occupation role at ALSO, the E-3 is worth prioritizing.
What types of roles at ALSO are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
ALSO's sponsorship activity reflects the technical demands of the manufacturing industry. Roles in engineering, technical operations, quality assurance, and supply chain management are the most consistent candidates for sponsorship, as they typically require a specific bachelor's degree or higher, satisfying the H-1B specialty occupation requirement.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at ALSO?
The most reliable approach is to search for ALSO directly on Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by verified sponsorship history. This lets you see active roles at ALSO alongside confirmation of the visa types they've sponsored, saving you from applying to postings where sponsorship is uncertain or unlikely.
How do I approach ALSO's application process as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Start by confirming the role requires qualifications that support a specialty occupation determination. During early recruiter conversations, focus on your technical fit before discussing visa logistics. ALSO follows a structured hiring process typical of manufacturing companies, so expect technical evaluations and allow sufficient lead time if you're working against an OPT expiration or H-1B cap deadline.
