Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Network Engineer Jobs at Arista Networks Jobs
Certify Your Network Engineering Credentials Early
Arista recruits heavily for EOS and BGP expertise. Having a CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent vendor-neutral certification documented before you apply strengthens your H-1B specialty occupation case and gives hiring managers a concrete technical signal.
Target Arista's Systems Engineering Pipeline Specifically
Arista posts Network Engineer roles across both corporate IT and customer-facing systems engineering tracks. Roles tied to pre-sales or post-sales support often have faster headcount approval cycles, so filtering by those job families surfaces openings with more sponsorship flexibility.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Arista Openings by Visa Type
Arista sponsors multiple visa categories for Network Engineers, including H-1B and TN. Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by the visa type you need, so you're only spending time on positions that match your current work authorization situation.
Align Your Resume to Arista's EOS Stack
Arista's job descriptions consistently reference Arista EOS, CloudVision, and spine-leaf architecture. Framing your experience around those specific platforms, not just generic routing and switching, makes it easier for recruiters to match you to a qualifying specialty occupation role for H-1B purposes.
Confirm LCA Filing Jurisdiction Before Accepting an Offer
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL listing the worksite location, which locks in the prevailing wage level. If Arista plans to place you at a client site or a different office than where you interviewed, confirm the LCA worksite before you sign.
Time Your F-1 OPT Application Around Arista's Hiring Cycles
Arista runs structured new-grad hiring in the fall and spring. If you're on F-1 OPT with a STEM extension, submitting your USCIS STEM OPT extension request at least 90 days before your current OPT expires protects your authorization window through a full Arista hiring cycle.

Find Network Engineer at Arista Networks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arista Networks sponsor H-1B visas for Network Engineers?
Yes, Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas for Network Engineers. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or a closely related field. Arista has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions for this function, including both cap-subject filings and transfers from other employers.
Which visa types does Arista Networks commonly use for Network Engineer roles?
Arista sponsors H-1B visas for the majority of its international Network Engineer hires. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles, and permanent residence pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 PERM-based sponsorship for longer-tenured engineers.
What qualifications does Arista Networks expect for Network Engineer positions?
Arista typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or network engineering, combined with hands-on experience in BGP, OSPF, and data center switching. Familiarity with Arista EOS or CloudVision is a strong differentiator. Senior roles often require experience with large-scale spine-leaf deployments or cloud provider interconnects.
How do I apply for Network Engineer jobs at Arista Networks?
You can apply directly through Arista's careers page or browse open Network Engineer roles filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific technical stack listed in the job description. Arista's interview process for Network Engineers typically includes a recruiter screen, a technical assessment covering routing protocols and EOS, and a panel interview with the hiring team.
How do I time my application to Arista Networks around the H-1B cap?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed starting April 1 each year, with USCIS opening registrations in March. If you're targeting Arista as a new H-1B hire, aim to have an offer finalized by February so your employer's immigration counsel can complete the Labor Condition Application and prepare the petition before the registration window opens. Missing the window means waiting a full year.
