Tailor your resume to Arista's sales motion
Arista's Account Managers sell directly into hyperscalers, financial institutions, and large enterprises. Highlight experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in networking or adjacent infrastructure categories, not general SaaS or transactional sales cycles.
Clarify your visa category before applying
Arista sponsors multiple visa types, and the right category depends on your nationality, degree field, and current status. Knowing whether you need H-1B cap sponsorship, TN classification, or OPT extension before your first interview prevents awkward conversations late in the process.
Target territories where Arista is actively hiring
Arista structures its sales force by named accounts and geographic territories. Applying to a region where a territory is open, rather than speculative pipeline roles, significantly improves your chances of reaching the offer stage where sponsorship decisions get made.
Align your offer timing with H-1B cap deadlines
If you need H-1B cap sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Receiving an offer in Q4 or Q1 positions you to register in the next lottery cycle without a gap in work authorization.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter Sales Account Manager openings at companies with confirmed sponsorship histories on Migrate Mate. This saves you from applying to roles where sponsorship is listed as possible but rarely approved for this function in practice.
Prepare for PERM if targeting permanent residence
Arista has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for employees in technical and sales roles. If long-term U.S. residence is your goal, ask your recruiter early whether the role qualifies for PERM labor certification and what the typical sponsorship timeline looks like.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Arista Networks sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Account Managers?
Yes, Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Account Manager roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation given the technical depth required, including knowledge of data center networking, cloud infrastructure, and complex enterprise sales. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, you'll need to go through the annual USCIS lottery registration, which opens each March.
Which visa types does Arista Networks commonly sponsor for Sales Account Manager roles?
Arista sponsors H-1B, TN visa, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for Sales Account Manager roles, as well as EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas for longer-term employees pursuing permanent residence. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals under USMCA. OPT and CPT are options for current F-1 students or recent graduates already authorized to work in the U.S.
What qualifications does Arista Networks expect for Sales Account Manager positions?
Arista looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, combined with experience selling into enterprise or data center environments. Familiarity with networking concepts, cloud architecture, or competitive platforms like Cisco or Juniper is a practical advantage. Roles are typically quota-carrying, so a documented track record of hitting revenue targets matters.
How do I apply for Sales Account Manager jobs at Arista Networks?
You can browse and apply for Sales Account Manager positions at Arista Networks through Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsorship-eligible openings in one place. When you apply directly, Arista's recruiting team screens for territory fit and sales background first. Disclosing your visa status early, rather than waiting for the offer stage, keeps the process moving without last-minute delays.
How do I manage my visa timeline during the Arista Networks hiring process?
Arista's hiring process for Sales Account Manager roles can span six to twelve weeks from first interview to offer. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your expiration date before you start interviewing so Arista's immigration team has enough runway to file. For H-1B transfers from another employer, USCIS portability rules under AC21 allow you to start working for Arista once the petition is filed, without waiting for approval.
