Target tech-adjacent roles within the travel platform
arrivia's sponsorship activity centers on roles supporting its travel loyalty technology. Focus your search on software, data, and product positions rather than frontline hospitality roles, which are far less likely to qualify for H-1B or OPT sponsorship.
Leverage F-1 OPT as an entry point
arrivia has sponsored F-1 OPT candidates, making it a viable target if you're a recent graduate. Apply during your OPT window and signal early that you'll need H-1B sponsorship down the line to set expectations with the hiring team.
Understand the company's sponsorship scope before applying
arrivia sponsors selectively, so tailor your application to roles where specialist skills are clearly required. Generalist or operations-heavy positions in Hospitality & Tourism rarely generate sponsorship petitions, even at companies with an active sponsorship history.
Apply well ahead of the H-1B registration window
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship at arrivia, aim to have an offer in hand by early in the calendar year. H-1B registration opens in March, and employers need time to prepare before the deadline, late offers often miss the window entirely.
Highlight niche technical skills tied to travel and loyalty systems
arrivia's platform serves travel rewards and loyalty programs, so candidates with experience in subscription commerce, loyalty tech, or travel APIs stand out. Framing your skills around the company's core product increases your chances of reaching the sponsorship conversation.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm sponsorship before you invest time applying
Not every open role at arrivia will come with sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus on arrivia openings where international candidates have a realistic path forward.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does arrivia sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, arrivia sponsors H-1B visas, primarily for roles in technology and specialized functions supporting its travel loyalty platform. Sponsorship is selective rather than broad, so candidates are most likely to receive H-1B support in positions requiring specific technical expertise. If you're on OPT, demonstrating your long-term value early in the hiring process improves your chances of securing a sponsorship commitment.
What visa types does arrivia sponsor?
arrivia sponsors H-1B and F-1 OPT visas. TN visas are also listed among the visa types the company has worked with, which may benefit eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. arrivia does not currently have a track record of Green Card sponsorship, so candidates focused on permanent residency pathways should factor that into their planning.
Which departments or roles at arrivia are most likely to offer visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at arrivia is concentrated in technical and specialized roles rather than general hospitality or customer-facing positions. Software engineering, data, and product roles tied to the company's travel loyalty technology platform are the most likely candidates for H-1B or OPT sponsorship. Roles in operations or account management in the broader Hospitality & Tourism space are less commonly sponsored.
How do I find open roles at arrivia that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find arrivia roles where international candidates have a realistic shot. It filters job listings by verified sponsorship history, so you can see which openings come from employers with an actual track record of filing for H-1B or OPT candidates, rather than relying on job descriptions that may be vague about sponsorship eligibility.
How do I time my application to arrivia for the best chance of H-1B sponsorship?
The H-1B registration window opens in March each year, with petitions filed shortly after for an October 1 start date. To give arrivia enough lead time, aim to have your offer finalized by February at the latest. If you're currently on OPT, starting the conversation about H-1B sponsorship during the interview process, rather than after an offer, avoids delays and signals professionalism.
