Frame your credentials around territory management
Arthrex Business Sales Representatives are expected to manage hospital and surgical center relationships independently. Before applying, document any experience managing account territories or working with clinical or distribution partners, since that context directly supports specialty occupation arguments for H-1B petitions.
Target open roles in surgical-dense markets
Arthrex concentrates its sales force near major orthopedic and sports medicine surgery hubs. Prioritizing applications in markets with high OR volume improves your odds of landing an open territory, which is often the first practical requirement before any sponsorship conversation begins.
Clarify OPT cap-gap timing before your interview
If you are on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date before your first interview. Arthrex's H-1B filings follow the April 1 cap season, so a gap between OPT expiry and October 1 status start requires cap-gap protection, which only applies if you are registered in the H-1B lottery in time.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Arthrex openings by visa type
Search Arthrex Business Sales Representative listings filtered by your specific visa category on Migrate Mate. This saves time by surfacing only roles where your work authorization type aligns with what Arthrex has sponsored historically, rather than applying broadly and asking later.
Confirm LCA wage level matches your offered role
Before signing an offer, verify that the Labor Condition Application wage level your employer files with the DOL reflects your actual responsibilities. Entry-level sales LCAs filed at a lower wage tier than your assigned territory complexity can create problems at the USCIS petition review stage.
Ask your recruiter about petition timing during the offer stage
Once you have a verbal offer, ask the recruiter directly whether Arthrex works with outside immigration counsel and what their typical I-129 filing window looks like. Knowing whether they file standard or premium processing helps you plan your start date and travel around the 90-day USCIS premium adjudication window.

Find Business Sales Representative at Arthrex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arthrex sponsor H-1B visas for Business Sales Representatives?
Yes, Arthrex sponsors H-1B visas for Business Sales Representative roles. The key requirement is that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation, meaning it requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Arthrex's sales roles in the medical device and surgical distribution space typically meet that bar, particularly when the territory involves clinical education responsibilities alongside standard account management.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Sales Representative roles at Arthrex?
H-1B is the most common pathway for full-time Business Sales Representatives at Arthrex. F-1 OPT and CPT can cover early-career or internship stages before transitioning to H-1B. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is also on record for this function, typically pursued after an initial H-1B period.
How do I apply for Business Sales Representative jobs at Arthrex?
You can browse and apply for Business Sales Representative openings at Arthrex through Migrate Mate, which lists Arthrex roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. Applications typically require a resume, and Arthrex's hiring process for sales roles usually includes a phone screen, field ride-along assessment, and panel interview before an offer is extended. Applying early in the cycle improves your chances of being considered before headcount closes.
What qualifications does Arthrex expect for Business Sales Representative candidates?
Arthrex generally looks for a bachelor's degree in a business, life sciences, or related field combined with demonstrated experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or distribution sales. For visa purposes, the degree field should align closely with the role's clinical and commercial scope. Prior experience managing hospital or surgical center accounts, familiarity with OR protocol, and a clean driving record are commonly expected.
How do I plan my timeline if Arthrex offers me H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date, so your offer needs to be in place by late March at the latest to participate in that lottery cycle. If you miss the cap, you may need to wait a full year for the next filing window. USCIS premium processing reduces adjudication time to 15 business days and is worth raising with Arthrex's HR team if your OPT or current status expires close to October 1.
