Frame Your Degree Around Medical Sales
Arthrex SDR roles fall under specialty occupation standards, so your degree needs a clear connection to sales, business, or life sciences. A marketing or biology degree paired with relevant coursework strengthens your H-1B petition significantly.
Target Territory-Based Openings Strategically
Arthrex structures its SDR headcount by geographic territory tied to surgical volume. Openings in high-volume orthopedic markets close faster, so prioritize applications in those regions rather than waiting for roles near your current location.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Arthrex SDR Listings
Arthrex posts SDR roles across multiple channels at different times. Use Migrate Mate to surface and track open positions that confirm visa sponsorship, so you're applying to the right openings without manually checking every posting.
Prepare a Device-Specific Sales Case Study
Arthrex interviews test your ability to position orthopedic products to surgeons and OR staff. Come prepared with a structured example of a consultative sales interaction, even from a lab, clinical, or distribution context, not just a generic sales scenario.
Confirm LCA Scope Covers Your Assigned Territory
Arthrex SDRs often work across multiple hospital systems in a territory. USCIS and DOL require that the Labor Condition Application covers all worksites where you'll perform work, so verify your employer includes territory-wide coverage in the LCA before filing.

Find Sales Development Representative at Arthrex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arthrex sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Development Representatives?
Yes, Arthrex has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales Development Representatives. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or life sciences. Your degree's connection to the role is the most important factor USCIS evaluates, so a clearly aligned academic background strengthens your petition.
How do I apply for Sales Development Representative jobs at Arthrex?
Apply directly through Arthrex's careers portal, where SDR openings are organized by territory and business unit. Before applying, confirm the listing explicitly supports visa sponsorship, as not every posting does. Migrate Mate filters Arthrex's open SDR roles by sponsorship eligibility, which saves time if you're only targeting positions where your visa situation is supported.
Which visa types does Arthrex commonly use for Sales Development Representative roles?
Arthrex sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for SDR candidates, and has pursued EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for longer-term employees. TN is a practical option for Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying degrees. F-1 candidates on OPT are often hired for SDR roles, with H-1B sponsorship following if the role continues past the OPT window.
What qualifications does Arthrex expect for Sales Development Representative candidates?
Arthrex looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, kinesiology, or a related field, combined with some exposure to clinical, laboratory, or customer-facing environments. SDR roles in medical device distribution are competitive, and prior experience shadowing surgical cases, working in a hospital setting, or selling in a healthcare-adjacent context differentiates candidates meaningfully during the interview process.
How do I manage the visa filing timeline when starting an SDR role at Arthrex?
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT to H-1B, Arthrex must file your I-129 petition with USCIS before April 1 for an October 1 start. Build your offer negotiation timeline around this window. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Arthrex can file a transfer petition and you can begin work once they receive the receipt notice, without waiting for final approval.
