Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Manufacturing Jobs at Avery Dennison Jobs
Align Your Degree to the Role
H-1B eligibility requires a specialty occupation, so verify your degree field directly maps to the Manufacturing role you're targeting. Process engineering or materials science degrees carry more weight than general business credentials for plant-based positions.
Target Roles Requiring Specialized Technical Credentials
Avery Dennison's Manufacturing openings frequently require expertise in adhesive technologies, label converting, or precision materials processes. Applying to roles where your technical specialization is rare strengthens your sponsorship case and distinguishes you from local applicants.
Search Open Manufacturing Roles on Migrate Mate
Avery Dennison posts Manufacturing positions across multiple U.S. facilities with varying sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for visa-sponsoring Manufacturing openings at Avery Dennison so you're not applying blindly to roles that won't support your situation.
Confirm OPT STEM Extension Eligibility Early
Manufacturing engineering roles at Avery Dennison often fall under STEM-designated SOC codes, which may qualify your degree for a 24-month OPT extension. Verify your specific role's SOC classification with your Designated School Official before your initial 12 months expire.
Understand the PERM Pathway for Manufacturing
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for Manufacturing roles requires DOL PERM labor certification, meaning Avery Dennison must document that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Roles requiring highly specific process knowledge or niche equipment experience tend to move through PERM more smoothly.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope Before Accepting an Offer
Before signing, confirm in writing whether Avery Dennison's sponsorship covers only H-1B filing or also includes immigrant visa support. Manufacturing roles sometimes involve facility transfers, so ask whether sponsorship follows you across U.S. plant locations.

Find Manufacturing at Avery Dennison JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Avery Dennison sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, Avery Dennison has a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Manufacturing positions, particularly for roles requiring specialized technical knowledge in areas like materials science, process engineering, and operations. Sponsorship availability varies by specific role and facility, so confirming eligibility with the hiring team during the interview process is the most reliable approach.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Avery Dennison?
Applications go through Avery Dennison's careers portal at careers.averydennison.com. If you need visa sponsorship, filtering by Manufacturing roles before applying saves time. Migrate Mate also lists Avery Dennison's open Manufacturing positions with sponsorship context, which helps you identify the right openings before submitting your application directly to the company.
Which visa types does Avery Dennison commonly use for Manufacturing roles?
Avery Dennison sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying specialty occupation Manufacturing roles, along with TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible engineering or science classifications. For students on F-1 status, OPT and CPT pathways are supported during and after degree programs. Longer-term, EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is available for Manufacturing professionals in roles that meet PERM labor certification requirements through the DOL.
What qualifications does Avery Dennison expect for Manufacturing positions?
Most Manufacturing roles at Avery Dennison require a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a closely related technical field. Hands-on experience with converting processes, adhesive manufacturing, or high-volume production environments is frequently listed as a requirement. For senior roles, familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and ERP systems like SAP strengthens your application considerably.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Manufacturing role at Avery Dennison?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. H-1B sponsorship follows USCIS's April lottery and October 1 start date cycle, so planning 12 to 18 months out is realistic for new applicants. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship for Manufacturing roles typically adds one to two years beyond H-1B approval, depending on your country of birth and USCIS processing volumes at the time of filing.
