Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Operations Jobs at Avery Dennison Jobs
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility for Operations roles hinges on whether the position requires a specific bachelor's degree. Frame your engineering, supply chain, or industrial management degree as directly tied to the role's technical requirements when preparing your resume and application materials.
Target plant and regional operations openings specifically
Avery Dennison's Operations hiring skews toward manufacturing facilities and supply chain hubs. Filter job searches by facility-based titles like Process Engineer or Manufacturing Operations Manager rather than broad corporate Operations roles, which are more likely to have defined technical degree requirements.
Start OPT applications well before your authorization expires
USCIS recommends filing OPT applications up to 90 days before your program end date. If you're in an OPT extension period, confirm your I-20 reflects the correct dates before Avery Dennison's HR team initiates any onboarding or E-Verify steps.
Ask about PERM timing during the offer stage
For EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, DOL's PERM labor certification can take a year or more before USCIS even receives your I-140 petition. Raise this timeline with the recruiter early so both parties understand the long-range commitment before you accept an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Operations roles at Avery Dennison
Avery Dennison's Operations openings are spread across multiple facilities and aren't always easy to track. Search Migrate Mate to find currently open roles filtered by sponsorship eligibility, so you're applying to positions where the pathway already exists.
Prepare TN documentation if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Operations roles in manufacturing commonly qualify under TN categories like Engineer or Management Consultant. Bring your degree certificates, a detailed offer letter specifying your role's technical scope, and employer confirmation of your job duties to the port of entry, as officers will assess TN eligibility on the spot.

Find Operations at Avery Dennison JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Avery Dennison sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Avery Dennison sponsors H-1B visas for Operations positions that meet USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Roles in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain operations are the most common fit, as they typically require a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field. Generalist or supervisory Operations titles with broad degree requirements may face more scrutiny during the H-1B petition process.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Avery Dennison?
You can search and apply for Operations roles directly through Avery Dennison's careers portal, or browse sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters positions by visa sponsorship track record. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight technical degree alignment and any direct manufacturing or supply chain experience, since Avery Dennison's Operations hiring is heavily facility and function-specific.
Which visa types does Avery Dennison commonly use for Operations hires?
Avery Dennison sponsors a range of visa categories for Operations professionals, including H-1B for specialty occupation roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying engineering or management roles, and EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based Green Cards for longer-term sponsorship. The right pathway depends on your citizenship, degree field, and the specific role's technical requirements.
What qualifications does Avery Dennison look for in Operations candidates?
Most Operations roles at Avery Dennison require a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain management, or a closely related field. Hands-on manufacturing experience, familiarity with lean or Six Sigma methodologies, and exposure to production planning or process improvement are strong differentiators. For visa sponsorship purposes, the degree field must align directly with the role's core responsibilities, not just its general industry.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Operations role at Avery Dennison?
Timeline varies by visa type. H-1B cap-subject petitions follow a fixed annual lottery cycle with an October 1 start date, so planning around that calendar is essential. TN status for Canadian citizens can be obtained at the border on the same day as your start date. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 can take two years or more from initial filing to I-140 approval, excluding any priority date waiting periods.
