About us:
Blockworks is an information platform that sits at the center of the crypto industry. We transform raw, complex data and facts into actionable research, trusted alpha-driven insights, and world-class events. The result is transparency and confidence. We enable investors, operators, and institutions to see past the noise, make better decisions, and drive the industry forward.
Who You Are:
You’re a high-performing, self-directed sales professional with sharp instincts, strong presence, and a deep curiosity for emerging tech and the crypto ecosystem. You’re philosophically aligned with the ethos of crypto and energized by the idea of being a part of it. You’re a fast learner and someone who relentlessly pushes to hone your skills and exceed your goals. The top of the leaderboard is where you feel most comfortable.
You know how to authentically connect. Whether it’s a quick sync or a pitch to the C-suite, you’ve got a way of making conversations feel effortless—and actually go somewhere. You know how to build credibility quickly, ask smart questions, and turn early conversations into long-term partnerships.
You bring a strong sense of personal ownership to everything you do, but you thrive as part of a team. You show up for your team, celebrate their wins as loudly as your own, and lead with humility and high EQ. You raise the bar—not just for yourself, but for the people around you.
What You’ll Do:
Every day will look a little different, but in general, you’ll do things like:
Drive New Business: You'll own a full sales cycle across a defined list of accounts — from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and closing. You'll build your pipeline proactively, source your own opportunities, and develop a strong sense of which accounts are worth your time. You’ll be responsible for selling across Blockworks’ full suite of offerings, including data, media, and events. Deal structures can vary in size and complexity depending on the partner.
Create Custom Solutions: You'll develop proposals that span Blockworks' data, media, and events products. You'll take the time to understand what a partner is actually trying to achieve and put together something that genuinely moves the needle for them — not a generic deck.
Build Real Relationships: Your counterparts are heads of growth, marketing leads, CMOs, and founders at crypto companies and institutions entering the space. You'll build relationships that outlast any single deal and turn early wins into long-term partnerships. You’ll work across a mix of accounts, with a focus on growth-stage companies while still having exposure to larger and more established organizations.
Stay on Top of the Industry: You'll track what's happening in crypto closely enough that it becomes a natural part of how you sell — not background reading you do once a month. Emerging narratives, new protocols, capital flows — you use all of it to get into conversations earlier and sharper. You’ll also build an understanding of how Blockworks’ data product supports research, market intelligence, and decision-making so you can incorporate it into your conversations with clients.
Represent Blockworks IRL: You'll attend key industry events, meet partners in person, and use those moments to accelerate relationships and create pipeline that doesn't come from cold outreach.
Operate with Discipline: You'll log everything in the CRM, forecast accurately, and manage your pipeline with rigor. You understand that discipline in process is what separates reps who have good months from reps who have good years. Deal sizes will vary, but many partnerships in this role will fall in the ~$50k–$100k range.
Work as a Team: We operate as a team. You’ll be expected to share learnings, collaborate across deals, and contribute to a culture where success is collective, not individual.
Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.
What You’ve Done Before:
You've spent at least three years in a closing sales role — ideally in crypto, SaaS, or emerging tech — and you've consistently hit or exceeded your targets. You've sold six-figure deals, managed your own pipeline, and can speak clearly about how you got deals done: who the stakeholders were, what objections you faced, and how you worked through them.
You know how to manage a deal from first touch to final signature. You've built relationships with senior decision-makers and earned their trust over time — not just on a single pitch.
It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This:
- Have experience selling data or technology products alongside media, event sponsorships, or content partnerships.
- Have direct exposure to DeFi, crypto exchanges, or institutional digital asset teams — either as a seller or as a user of those products.
- Are already using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow to research accounts, write better outreach, and move faster.

Job Roles at BlockWorks Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in BlockWorks Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with BlockWorks's editorial focus
BlockWorks operates at the intersection of media and crypto. Roles in journalism, content production, research, and event coverage are most likely to see sponsorship activity. Tailor your application to show fluency in both digital assets and media storytelling.
Understand which visa types BlockWorks actually sponsors
BlockWorks sponsors the E-3 for Australian professionals, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for international students, and TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Knowing which category fits your background before you apply saves time and avoids mismatched expectations.
Australian applicants should prioritize the E-3 pathway
BlockWorks has a track record of sponsoring E-3 visas, making it a meaningful option for Australian citizens in media or content roles. The E-3 process is employer-driven, so reaching out early to discuss sponsorship willingness is worth doing before investing in a full application.
F-1 students should engage before OPT authorization expires
BlockWorks supports F-1 OPT and CPT, which is useful for international students already studying in the U.S. Initiating the conversation with their hiring team well before your OPT period ends gives both sides time to assess fit and prepare paperwork without urgency.
Use Migrate Mate to verify BlockWorks's current sponsorship activity
Sponsorship willingness can shift as companies grow or restructure. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm BlockWorks is actively hiring before tailoring your outreach or application materials.
Position yourself around BlockWorks's niche content verticals
BlockWorks covers blockchain, DeFi, and digital asset markets for a specialized audience. Candidates who demonstrate genuine knowledge of these subjects, not just general media skills, are far more likely to stand out in a small, editorially driven team.

Does BlockWorks sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, BlockWorks does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. The company's sponsorship activity is concentrated in other categories, including the E-3 for Australian nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for international students, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican professionals. If H-1B sponsorship is essential to your situation, it is worth confirming directly with their hiring team before applying.
Which visa types does BlockWorks sponsor?
BlockWorks sponsors the E-3 visa for Australian citizens, F-1 OPT and CPT for students completing U.S.-based degree programs, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. This makes BlockWorks a realistic option for international candidates in those specific categories, particularly those with backgrounds in media, content, or digital finance journalism.
What types of roles at BlockWorks are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
BlockWorks is a media company focused on the crypto and digital assets industry, so roles in editorial, content production, research, podcast production, and events coverage are the most natural fit for sponsorship. The company is relatively small and editorially driven, meaning sponsored hires tend to be in core content or research functions rather than operational or administrative roles.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at BlockWorks?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find current openings at BlockWorks that are open to visa sponsorship. The platform verifies sponsorship history and lets you filter by visa type and employer, so you can confirm BlockWorks is actively hiring before spending time on applications. Checking directly through BlockWorks's own website and social channels is also worth doing given the company's size.
How do I approach the application process at BlockWorks as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Given BlockWorks's size and niche editorial focus, personalized outreach tends to work better than mass applications. Lead with your knowledge of the crypto media space, be upfront about your visa category early in the process, and confirm sponsorship availability before investing significant time. For Australian applicants pursuing the E-3, the employer-driven nature of the process means engaging the hiring team proactively is important to keep timelines on track.
