Frame your credentials around MarTech infrastructure
Braze's Technician roles typically require hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, or customer data platforms. Document certifications in AWS, GCP, or relevant tools before applying so your qualifications map directly to their technical stack.
Target Braze's customer onboarding and integrations teams
Many Technician openings at Braze support enterprise client implementations rather than pure internal IT. Roles tied to onboarding pipelines and SDK integrations appear consistently, so filter your job search toward implementation-focused postings rather than general technical support.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
Braze sponsors multiple visa types across technical roles, including H-1B, E-3, and TN. Knowing which category applies to you before screening calls means you can address sponsorship directly without creating friction late in the hiring process.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Braze Technician openings
Braze posts Technician roles across several teams at different times of year. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Braze positions that include visa sponsorship, so you're not manually tracking a job board that doesn't surface sponsorship eligibility.
Align your timeline with H-1B cap deadlines if applicable
If you need H-1B sponsorship and are not currently cap-exempt, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start. Plan your Braze application timeline so a potential offer lands with enough runway to file before the registration window closes.
Confirm the role qualifies as a specialty occupation
USCIS requires H-1B positions to meet specialty occupation criteria, meaning the role must normally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical field. Braze's Technician roles tied to software systems or data pipelines generally satisfy this standard, but verify the job description requires a relevant degree, not just experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Braze sponsor H-1B visas for Technicians?
Yes, Braze sponsors H-1B visas for Technician roles. Because H-1B requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, Technician roles at Braze that involve software systems, API integrations, or data infrastructure tend to meet that threshold more cleanly than generalist support positions. Confirm the specific job description requires a relevant bachelor's degree before applying.
How do I apply for Technician jobs at Braze?
You can browse and apply for Technician roles at Braze directly through their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters for positions offering visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific technical stack Braze uses, including mobile SDKs, REST APIs, and cloud data platforms, since Technician roles at Braze are closely tied to their customer engagement infrastructure.
Which visa types does Braze commonly use for Technician roles?
Braze sponsors several visa categories for technical positions, including H-1B, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways are also part of their sponsorship portfolio for longer-term employment. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and role type.
What qualifications does Braze expect for Technician roles?
Braze Technician roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field, along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, APIs, or mobile SDK environments. Familiarity with customer data platforms or marketing automation infrastructure is a practical advantage, since most Technician positions at Braze sit within their client-facing technical operations function.
How do I plan my timeline for Braze sponsorship as a Technician?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category. E-3 and TN sponsorship can move quickly, sometimes within a few weeks of an offer. H-1B sponsorship is tied to USCIS's annual cap, with registration in March and an October 1 start date, so factor that into when you begin your job search. F-1 OPT candidates should confirm their work authorization end date before accepting an offer to avoid gaps.
