General Summary:
The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of interior and exterior building maintenance and repair tasks within a commercial environment. Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of Maintenance Technician or related work experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair work on interior and exterior building systems.
- Complete repairs and installations including, but not limited to:
- Drywall repair and painting
- Plumbing piping repairs and plumbing fixture installation/repair
- Drain snaking and basic plumbing troubleshooting
- Suspended ceiling reconfiguration and repairs
- Flooring installation and repair
- Adjustment and repair of interior and exterior doors
- Minor cabinet repairs
- Hanging and mounting items on walls
- Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Accurately document work and navigate internal systems using basic computer applications.
- Participate in a 24/7 after-hours on-call rotation as required.
- Travel to job sites using a personal vehicle to complete daily assignments.
- Deliver professional, courteous service while interacting with internal teams and customers.
Required Skills and Experience
- General maintenance experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency to use internal systems and software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
- Ability and willingness to be part of an on-call rotation and travel between job sites.
