Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Product Engineer Jobs at Braze Jobs
Align your portfolio to Braze's stack
Braze's product runs on Ruby, Go, and React at scale. Before applying, make sure your portfolio or GitHub reflects experience with high-throughput data pipelines or event-driven systems, since interviewers will probe those areas directly.
Target roles labeled for immediate hiring
Braze posts Product Engineer roles across multiple teams simultaneously. Filter for positions marked as actively interviewing rather than pipeline roles, since H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed within specific USCIS registration windows each spring.
Confirm LCA scope before negotiating compensation
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. The certified wage level locks your minimum pay, so understanding prevailing wage tiers for your specific product team location matters before you finalize any offer.
Prepare degree equivalency documentation early
Braze's Product Engineer roles typically require a bachelor's in computer science or a related field. If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credentials evaluation from a NACES-approved service before your final interview round, not after an offer lands.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles faster
Braze's Product Engineer openings are spread across multiple teams and geographies. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Braze roles that include visa sponsorship, so you're not manually parsing job descriptions to determine sponsorship eligibility.
Ask recruiting about cap-exempt petition pathways
If you missed the H-1B lottery, ask your Braze recruiter whether any product engineering work qualifies for placement at a cap-exempt institution. Certain research or university partnerships can allow USCIS filings outside the annual cap cycle.

Find Product Engineer at Braze JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Braze sponsor H-1B visas for Product Engineers?
Yes, Braze sponsors H-1B visas for Product Engineer roles. The company has a consistent track record of filing petitions for engineering positions. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are tied to USCIS's annual lottery window in March, timing your offer and onboarding relative to that cycle matters. Talk to your recruiter early about where you are in the process.
How do I apply for Product Engineer jobs at Braze?
Applications go through Braze's careers portal. The interview process for Product Engineers typically includes a technical screen, system design round, and coding assessment focused on backend or full-stack engineering. To find roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility upfront, browse Product Engineer openings at Braze through Migrate Mate before applying directly.
Which visa types does Braze commonly use for Product Engineer roles?
Braze sponsors several visa categories for Product Engineers, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students finishing U.S. degrees, and J-1 for exchange visitors. For longer-term employment, Braze also supports Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 PERM-based sponsorship.
What qualifications does Braze expect for Product Engineer roles?
Braze's Product Engineer positions generally require a bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field, plus hands-on experience with backend systems, APIs, or data-intensive applications. Given Braze's marketing technology platform, experience with event-driven architectures, customer data pipelines, or multi-tenant SaaS products strengthens your application considerably beyond just language proficiency.
How do I time my application around H-1B filing deadlines?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in early March each year, with petitions filed shortly after for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT end date and whether you qualify for the 24-month STEM extension, which can bridge a gap if you miss one lottery cycle while staying employed at Braze.
