The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Be the Face of KLA Technology at Our Customer Sites Worldwide
At KLA, our Product Installation Engineers (IEs) are the critical first connection between our customers and their new, highly advanced equipment. This role is instrumental in shaping the customer’s first—and lasting—impression of KLA products, services, and technical excellence. As a Product Installation Engineer, you will lead the on‑time installation and qualification of complex capital equipment*, ensuring smooth handoff, predictable cycle times, and a successful warranty start. You’ll represent KLA directly with customers, taking ownership of installation performance and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
- Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
- Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
- Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
- Secure warranty sign‑off on newly installed tools

- Operate independently while following documented procedures, exercising sound technical judgment within defined guidelines
- Work under guidance from managers and senior IEs, with increasing autonomy as experience grows
