INTRODUCTION
Bully Pulpit International is an outcomes agency made up of strategists, data scientists, and artists. We come from politics, brands, and government and we communicate without barriers and measure what matters. We have more than 350 team members in six countries and thirteen offices — Berlin, Brussels, Chicago, D.C., London, Los Angeles, New York, Oslo, San Francisco, and Zürich. We apply our unique expertise across strategic communications, public affairs, research, and digital marketing to create sophisticated and customized strategies that make change possible for both American and European clients.
Starting Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
Location: Expectation to work from DC, New York, Chicago, SF or LA offices at least 3 days a week (LA Preferred)
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
We are seeking a full-time Associate Director, who will drive creator partnerships and activations for a diverse client portfolio spanning public affairs, nonprofit and advocacy campaigns, and electoral politics. Reporting to the Head of Creator Partnerships, you will lead end-to-end strategy and execution for your campaigns, harnessing a deep understanding of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Substack, and Discord to shift key audiences’ attitudes and behaviors.
While the Creator team sits on the Paid Media team, your work will integrate traditional paid creator programs and ongoing organic engagements into authentic partnerships that include short-form video, integrations, events, and more. You will be responsible for managing client work streams and delivering high-impact activations that meet rigorous campaign objectives.
WHAT THE DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE
Strategy & Platform Expertise
- Lead end-to-end creator campaign strategy and execution, using insights-driven approaches to identify the platforms, creators, and cultural moments that best align with client objectives and reach harder-to-reach audiences.
- Serve as a platform expert, staying ahead of trends in social subcultures and emerging platforms to advise internal teams and clients on how to activate them through both organic and paid strategies.
- Evangelize the "why" behind creator work, helping stakeholders understand the strategic relevance of parasocial trust, authenticity, and cultural legitimacy over simple reach.
Program Execution & Innovation
- Oversee the daily lifecycle of creator programs, including identification, relationship management, negotiation, contracting, and performance tracking across a tiered ecosystem of creators (ranging from micro-influencers to celebrities).
- Drive operational efficiency by utilizing technology platforms and innovative tools to improve workflows, identification, and campaign measurement.
- Manage high-velocity work streams, navigating competing priorities to meet rigorous campaign deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Integrated Collaboration
- Drive cross-functional delivery, working with Strategic Communications, Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure creator work is story-first and integrated into the broader campaign narrative.
- Partner with Client Services to manage work streams and support pitching and reporting, using cultural fluency to influence client decision-making and articulate strategic value.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of combined social media and creator marketing. Experience within public affairs, political advocacy, or nonprofit sectors is a strong plus.
- Deep knowledge of the creator ecosystem from ideation to execution, including hands-on experience with platform-specific strategies.
- Strong ability to pitch strategic recommendations and influence both internal stakeholders and senior-level clients.
- Proven track record of managing complex client work streams and moving quickly in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in using technology platforms for creator identification, management, and workflow optimization.
- An understanding of how cultural narratives drive perception, legitimacy, and behavior.

How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Bully Pulpit Interactive Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with H-1B1 eligibility
Bully Pulpit Interactive sponsors through the H-1B1 visa, which is available to Chilean and Singaporean nationals only. Focus your application on roles requiring specialized skills where your nationality qualifies you for this specific visa category.
Position yourself around digital strategy and public affairs
BPI's work sits at the intersection of data, digital advertising, and political communications. Candidates with backgrounds in paid media, analytics, or digital strategy are best aligned with the specialized roles most likely to attract sponsorship consideration at this firm.
Demonstrate specialty occupation qualifications clearly
The H-1B1 requires a degree directly tied to the role. When applying, make sure your resume and cover materials explicitly connect your field of study to the specific marketing or advertising function you're targeting at Bully Pulpit Interactive.
Research BPI's client portfolio before applying
Bully Pulpit Interactive works with political campaigns, advocacy groups, and corporate clients. Showing familiarity with their work, and articulating how your skills serve mission-driven advertising, signals genuine interest and sets you apart from generalist candidates.
Filter for verified sponsors before you apply
Not every marketing and advertising agency will sponsor visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and helping you prioritize firms like Bully Pulpit Interactive with a confirmed track record.
Start the conversation about sponsorship early in the process
Bully Pulpit Interactive is a boutique agency, so immigration decisions tend to involve senior stakeholders. Raising visa needs early, ideally before an offer stage, gives the firm time to plan and avoids surprises that could delay or complicate your hire.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Bully Pulpit Interactive sponsor H-1B visas?
Bully Pulpit Interactive's sponsorship activity has been through the H-1B1 visa rather than the standard H-1B. The H-1B1 is a closely related but distinct category available exclusively to nationals of Chile and Singapore. If you hold citizenship in one of those two countries and work in a specialty occupation, BPI's sponsorship history is directly relevant to your job search.
Which visa types does Bully Pulpit Interactive sponsor?
Bully Pulpit Interactive has sponsored the H-1B1 visa, a nonimmigrant work visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals in specialty occupations. The firm does not have a recorded history of sponsoring standard H-1B visas or Green Cards. International candidates from other countries should weigh this carefully when evaluating BPI as a sponsorship target.
Which roles at Bully Pulpit Interactive are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
BPI's core work spans digital advertising, data analytics, paid media strategy, and political communications. Roles requiring specialized technical or strategic expertise, such as data scientists, digital strategists, and media analysts, are most likely to justify the sponsorship investment at a firm of this size. Generalist or entry-level positions are less likely to lead to a visa petition.
How do I find open jobs at Bully Pulpit Interactive that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to use a platform that tracks real sponsorship history rather than self-reported employer claims. Migrate Mate lets you browse open roles at companies with verified visa sponsorship records, including firms in the marketing and advertising space like Bully Pulpit Interactive, so you can apply with confidence that sponsorship is genuinely on the table.
How do I time my application to Bully Pulpit Interactive around visa deadlines?
The H-1B1 visa does not use a lottery system and can be filed year-round, which gives BPI and candidates more flexibility than the standard H-1B annual cap process. That said, boutique agencies often have longer internal approval timelines for immigration decisions. Starting conversations with recruiters at least three to four months before your intended start date is a practical baseline to avoid gaps in authorization.
