Translate your credentials into U.S. manufacturing equivalents
Food production and supply chain credentials from outside the U.S. don't always map cleanly to American job titles. Document your experience against FDA food safety standards and U.S. GMP requirements before applying, since Chobani's Operations hiring reflects regulated dairy manufacturing.
Target Chobani's plant locations strategically
Chobani operates large-scale production facilities, not just a corporate headquarters. Operations roles at plant sites often have different hiring timelines and urgency than office-based positions, so filter your search by facility location rather than applying broadly.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Identify Operations openings at companies with a documented history of visa sponsorship before you apply cold. Migrate Mate filters employers by sponsorship track record, so you can prioritize Chobani's active Operations listings rather than guessing which roles are open to sponsored candidates.
Understand the H-1B cap timeline before accepting an offer
H-1B cap registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window, ask your Chobani recruiter whether the role can be structured as cap-exempt or whether USCIS premium processing is on the table to compress the timeline.
Prepare for PERM documentation requirements on Green Card pathways
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through PERM requires your employer to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available. For Operations roles, this means your experience, certifications, and degree need to match the minimum requirements Chobani files with DOL, so align your resume precisely to the posted job description.

Find Operations at Chobani JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Chobani sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Chobani has sponsored H-1B visas for Operations positions. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open role, and it depends on the specific position, your qualifications, and timing relative to the H-1B cap registration period each March. Reaching out to Chobani's talent acquisition team early in the process gives you the clearest picture of whether sponsorship is available for a specific listing.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Chobani?
Applications go through Chobani's careers portal, where Operations roles are listed by location and department. You can also find verified sponsoring roles on Migrate Mate, which filters Chobani's active Operations listings by visa sponsorship eligibility. Tailoring your resume to reflect food manufacturing, supply chain, or production quality experience relevant to dairy operations will strengthen your application.
Which visa types are commonly used for Operations roles at Chobani?
Operations roles at Chobani have been supported through H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible occupational categories. H-1B and PERM-based Green Card sponsorship are more common for longer-term placements in specialized or senior Operations functions.
What qualifications does Chobani expect for Operations positions?
Chobani's Operations roles span a wide range, from production floor positions to supply chain and continuous improvement functions. Technical roles typically require a degree in engineering, food science, operations management, or a related field. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or lean manufacturing practices is frequently mentioned in job descriptions. For visa sponsorship eligibility under H-1B, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field.
How long does visa sponsorship take for an Operations role at Chobani?
Timeline depends on visa type. F-1 OPT authorization from USCIS takes up to 90 days, so applications should be submitted well before your program end date. H-1B sponsorship for cap-subject roles requires registration in March with a potential October 1 start, meaning lead time can exceed six months. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at the border in a single visit. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through DOL typically takes one to two years or longer.
