Job Roles at Christianson PLLP Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Christianson PLLP Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Christianson PLLP sponsors through the H-1B program, which requires a direct connection between your degree and the role. Accounting, auditing, and finance positions with a clear degree requirement in a related field are your strongest fit.
Highlight CPA progress or professional credentials early
Accounting firms weigh professional credentials heavily. If you're pursuing or have passed CPA exams, lead with that in your application. It signals long-term commitment to the profession and strengthens your case as a sponsorship candidate.
Understand the H-1B lottery timeline before you apply
H-1B sponsorship at Christianson PLLP is tied to the annual lottery cycle, with registration typically opening in March. Apply early enough that an offer can be secured well before the registration window, rushing this timeline creates real risk.
Research open roles through a platform that filters by real sponsorship history
Not every accounting firm is willing to sponsor. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to firms that don't sponsor at all.
Prepare for technical accounting assessments in the interview process
Public accounting firms frequently use technical screenings covering audit methodology, tax concepts, or GAAP standards. Strong preparation signals that your qualifications meet the specialty occupation threshold that H-1B sponsorship depends on.
Ask about sponsorship explicitly during the offer stage, not after
Christianson PLLP has a track record of H-1B sponsorship, but confirm it's on the table for your specific role before accepting. Raise the conversation during offer negotiations, not after you've signed, timing matters significantly here.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Christianson PLLP sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Christianson PLLP sponsors H-1B visas. The firm operates in accounting and auditing, an industry where H-1B sponsorship is common for roles requiring specialized degree-level knowledge in fields like accounting, finance, or taxation. If you're targeting Christianson PLLP, confirm that the specific role you're applying for meets the specialty occupation standard the H-1B requires.
What types of roles does Christianson PLLP typically sponsor?
Sponsorship at Christianson PLLP is concentrated in accounting and auditing functions, consistent with the firm's core business. Roles such as staff accountant, auditor, and tax associate are the most natural fit for H-1B sponsorship, as they typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a closely related field, a key H-1B eligibility requirement.
How do I apply for a sponsored position at Christianson PLLP?
Start by identifying open roles at the firm that match your accounting or finance background, then apply directly. Because H-1B sponsorship requires employer initiation, it's important to raise the topic during the offer stage. You can use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring employers in the accounting sector and track which firms have an active sponsorship history before you apply.
How does Christianson PLLP's sponsorship compare to larger accounting firms?
Christianson PLLP is a regional accounting firm, so its sponsorship volume is more selective compared to the Big Four or large national firms. That said, smaller firms can offer a more direct path to sponsorship with less internal competition for visa slots. The tradeoff is fewer open roles, so timing and fit matter more than they would at a high-volume sponsor.
What should I know about the H-1B timeline when targeting Christianson PLLP?
The H-1B process runs on a fixed annual cycle. USCIS opens lottery registration in March, and petitions for selected applicants are filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. To realistically pursue sponsorship at Christianson PLLP, you'd need a job offer secured well before March. Starting your search six to nine months ahead of your intended start date gives you a workable runway.
