Align your credentials with food manufacturing standards
Clemens operates under strict USDA and food safety regulations, so certifications like HACCP or OSHA 10 signal job-readiness. Translate any international food processing experience into U.S.-recognized terminology before you apply.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Manufacturing roles
Clemens posts Manufacturing openings across multiple facilities. Use Migrate Mate to browse their current listings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're only applying to positions that match your immigration status.
Confirm OPT eligibility before your interview
If you're on F-1 OPT, verify that your STEM CIP code maps to the engineering or food science functions in the role. Manufacturing positions at food processing companies can fall outside STEM OPT extension eligibility if the role is primarily production-floor work.
Prepare for E-Verify clearance as part of onboarding
Clemens, like most large food manufacturers, participates in E-Verify. Ensure your I-9 documents are current and that your authorized work period covers your start date, otherwise onboarding can be delayed while USCIS resolves tentative non-confirmations.

Find Manufacturing at Clemens Food Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Clemens Food Group sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Clemens Food Group's Manufacturing sponsorship history is centered on Green Card pathways (EB-2 and EB-3) and F-1 OPT and TN visas rather than H-1B. H-1B sponsorship in food manufacturing is less common because many production roles don't meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires. Roles in engineering, food science, or quality assurance are your best candidates for H-1B consideration.
Which visa types does Clemens Food Group commonly sponsor for Manufacturing positions?
Clemens sponsors F-1 CPT and OPT for students and recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering or scientific roles, and EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term hires. EB-3 is the most accessible Green Card route for manufacturing and production positions that don't require an advanced degree.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Clemens Food Group?
You can browse and apply for Manufacturing openings at Clemens Food Group through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you only see positions relevant to your immigration status. When you apply, tailor your resume to highlight food production, processing, or quality systems experience, and specify your visa category upfront to help the recruiting team assess your eligibility quickly.
What qualifications or experience does Clemens Food Group expect for Manufacturing roles?
Clemens looks for candidates with hands-on food production or processing experience, familiarity with USDA and FDA food safety standards, and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Engineering and quality assurance roles typically require a relevant bachelor's degree. For production-floor positions, demonstrated experience with high-volume manufacturing environments and safety compliance carries more weight than formal credentials.
How do I plan my timeline if Clemens Food Group sponsors my Green Card through Manufacturing?
EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through Clemens typically begins with PERM labor certification, which takes 12 to 18 months at the DOL. After PERM is certified, Clemens files an I-140 petition with USCIS. Depending on your country of birth, priority date backlogs at the State Department can add years to the process. Start conversations about Green Card timing during the offer stage, not after you've accepted.
