How to Get Visa Sponsorship in CliftonLarsonAllen Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with CLA's core service lines
CLA's sponsorship activity concentrates in audit, tax, and advisory functions. Targeting roles in these areas, particularly positions requiring CPA credentials or specialized accounting knowledge, gives you the strongest chance of being considered for sponsorship.
Highlight credentials relevant to accounting and auditing
CLA operates in a highly credentialed industry. Emphasizing your CPA progress, relevant degree in accounting or finance, and any specialized technical skills strengthens your case for sponsorship by demonstrating you meet the specialty occupation threshold required for H-1B approval.
Engage with CLA's campus recruiting programs if you're on OPT or CPT
CLA actively recruits through university channels and has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT candidates. If you're a current student or recent graduate, targeting CLA through campus recruiting gives you a structured entry point where sponsorship is already expected.
Ask about Green Card sponsorship timelines during the offer stage
CLA has sponsored both H-1B and permanent residence pathways. If long-term immigration is your goal, it's worth raising Green Card sponsorship directly during offer negotiations, firms in public accounting generally have established processes for this.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles at verified sponsors like CLA
Searching broadly for accounting jobs wastes time on employers who won't sponsor. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your applications on firms like CLA with a confirmed track record.

Does CliftonLarsonAllen sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, CliftonLarsonAllen sponsors H-1B visas. The firm has an established history of sponsoring foreign national professionals in accounting, audit, tax, and advisory roles that qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B requirements. If you're targeting CLA, roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field are your strongest pathway to H-1B sponsorship.
What visa types does CliftonLarsonAllen sponsor?
CliftonLarsonAllen sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, Green Card (EB-2 and EB-3), F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1. This breadth makes CLA a viable employer at multiple stages of an immigration journey, from early-career OPT roles through to permanent residence sponsorship for experienced professionals.
Which roles at CliftonLarsonAllen are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at CLA tends to concentrate in technical accounting, audit, and advisory positions that require a degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field. These roles satisfy the specialty occupation criteria central to H-1B approval. Staff accountant, audit associate, tax associate, and consulting analyst positions are the roles most commonly associated with sponsorship activity at large public accounting firms like CLA.
How do I apply for a sponsored role at CliftonLarsonAllen?
Start by identifying open roles in CLA's audit, tax, or advisory practices that match your background. Apply through CLA's careers page and be upfront about your visa status in early conversations with recruiters. If you're on OPT, flag your timeline clearly. For H-1B sponsorship, the process typically involves an offer letter, Labor Condition Application filing with the Department of Labor, and then the H-1B petition with USCIS, a process CLA's HR team has experience navigating.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at CliftonLarsonAllen?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find sponsored roles at CLA. Rather than sifting through generic job boards where sponsorship policies are unclear, Migrate Mate filters specifically for employers with verified sponsorship histories. You can browse current openings at CliftonLarsonAllen and similar accounting firms, knowing the sponsorship track record is already confirmed before you invest time in an application.
