Frame Your BD Experience Around Enterprise Software
Cloud Software Group sells complex, multi-stakeholder software solutions. Tailor your resume to show experience managing long sales cycles, navigating procurement processes, or closing deals with IT and finance buyers, not just generalist business development work.
Research Which Product Lines Are Actively Hiring
Cloud Software Group operates multiple product families across virtualization, networking, and SaaS. BD openings cluster around specific product lines at different times, so identifying which division is expanding helps you target applications where sponsorship decisions are most active.
Clarify Sponsorship Before the Final Interview Round
Ask your recruiter directly whether the specific BD role is open to H-1B or TN candidates before you reach the offer stage. Technology companies often make sponsorship decisions at the hiring manager level, and confirming early prevents late-stage surprises.
Understand How TN Status Works for BD Roles
Canadian and Mexican citizens can enter on TN status under the USMCA without waiting for H-1B lottery selection. For a BD role, the qualifying category is typically Management Consultant or Engineer. DOL does not require a separate labor certification for TN, which accelerates your start date.
Prepare for H-1B Cap Timing Early in the Process
If Cloud Software Group files an H-1B petition for you, USCIS opens registration in March for an October 1 start. Line up your offer, degree credentials, and any relevant foreign transcript evaluations well before February so your employer's immigration counsel has everything needed for the registration window.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Open BD Roles Filtered by Sponsorship
Search Migrate Mate to browse Business Development openings at Cloud Software Group filtered by visa type. This surfaces active roles where sponsorship has been confirmed, saving you from applying to positions where your status will disqualify you late in the process.

Find Business Development at Cloud Software Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Cloud Software Group sponsor H-1B visas for Business Developments?
Yes, Cloud Software Group sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Business Development roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file petitions through the annual USCIS cap process, with registration typically opening in March and employment starting October 1. Sponsorship availability can depend on the specific role, division, and hiring manager, so confirming with your recruiter early in the process is the most reliable approach.
Which visa types does Cloud Software Group commonly use for Business Development roles?
H-1B is the most common visa category for Business Development professionals at Cloud Software Group. The company also sponsors TN status for Canadian and Mexican citizens, which bypasses the H-1B lottery and allows faster start dates. For longer-term candidates, Cloud Software Group has filed EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions, which involve a PERM labor certification through DOL before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition.
What qualifications and experience does Cloud Software Group expect for Business Development roles?
Most BD roles at Cloud Software Group require a bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in enterprise software sales, partnerships, or channel development. Familiarity with Cloud Software Group's core product areas, such as virtualization, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS platforms, strengthens your candidacy. For H-1B purposes, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at Cloud Software Group?
Browse open Business Development positions at Cloud Software Group on Migrate Mate, where listings are filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can identify roles that match your immigration status. Once you find a relevant opening, apply through the company's careers portal. Prepare for a multi-stage process that typically includes a recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, and a deal or case-based presentation before an offer is extended.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Business Development offer at Cloud Software Group?
For H-1B, plan for a minimum of six months from offer to employment start if you're subject to the annual cap, since the earliest work authorization begins October 1 following a March registration. TN status can be obtained at a port of entry in a single day for eligible Canadian citizens. Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically spans two to four years from the initial labor certification filing with DOL through final USCIS approval.
