Frame your credentials around business impact
Cloud Software Group's Strategy teams work on portfolio rationalization, competitive positioning, and M&A integration across enterprise software products. Tailor your resume to reflect P&L ownership, market sizing, or cross-functional program outcomes rather than general analytical work.
Target roles aligned with active product lines
Cloud Software Group has multiple distinct business units following its Citrix and TIBCO integrations. Research which product lines have open Strategy headcount before applying, since sponsorship decisions often sit with individual business unit leaders, not central HR.
Clarify TN eligibility before accepting an offer
Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status in a Management Consultant or Economist category depending on how the Strategy role is scoped. Confirm the job description maps to a qualifying TN occupation with your immigration attorney before the offer stage.
Request the H-1B filing timeline at offer stage
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date. If you're not already in H-1B status, ask your Cloud Software Group recruiter early whether the role can accommodate a delayed start or if cap-exempt pathways apply.
Search verified sponsorship data before outreach
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Strategy roles at Cloud Software Group by visa type. This lets you prioritize positions where the company has actively filed for the sponsorship category you need, saving time on applications that won't lead anywhere.
Prepare for PERM labor market documentation early
If Green Card sponsorship is part of your negotiation, understand that PERM requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers were displaced. Strategy roles at software companies often face close scrutiny on minimum requirements, so your job description language matters significantly.

Does Cloud Software Group sponsor H-1B visas for Strategys?
Yes, Cloud Software Group sponsors H-1B visas for Strategy roles. The company operates as a large employer in the enterprise software sector and has an established immigration process for sponsoring international candidates. If you're cap-subject, the standard USCIS lottery and April filing window applies, so timing your job search around that cycle is important.
How do I apply for Strategy jobs at Cloud Software Group?
You can browse and apply for Strategy roles at Cloud Software Group directly through Migrate Mate, which filters positions by visa sponsorship type so you can see which openings are relevant to your situation. When applying, emphasize enterprise software experience and any exposure to go-to-market strategy, competitive analysis, or corporate development, since those align closely with how Cloud Software Group structures its Strategy function.
Which visa types does Cloud Software Group sponsor for Strategy roles?
Cloud Software Group sponsors H-1B visas for Strategy positions and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employment. Canadian and Mexican nationals may also be eligible for TN status depending on how the role is classified. The right visa category depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific responsibilities outlined in your offer.
What qualifications does Cloud Software Group expect for Strategy positions?
Strategy roles at Cloud Software Group typically require a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree common at senior levels. Practical experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy at a software or SaaS company is valued. Familiarity with enterprise software business models strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Strategy role?
If you need H-1B sponsorship and are currently on OPT, you have up to a 60-day grace period after your employment ends to secure a new role. STEM OPT extensions can provide additional runway. Cap-subject H-1B petitions are filed in April with an October 1 start, so aligning your offer timeline to that window reduces gaps in your work authorization.
